The next morning, Elena sat nervously at the kitchen table, her parents, glancing at her with concern. She took a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts before talking about the subject that had been troubling her for weeks now since she came back to the house.

"Mom, Dad, I need to talk to you about something," Elena finally said, her voice slightly shaky.
