My heart raced as I stepped into my bedroom, only to find Drenver standing there, his presence like a sudden chill in the air. Panic surged through me, my mind reeling with a whirlwind of emotions.

"What are you doing here?" I demanded, my voice trembling with a mixture of fear and anger.

Drenver's expression was unreadable; his gaze fixed on me with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. "Friah, we need to talk," he said, his voice low and urgent.

I took a step back, my instincts screaming at me to flee, to protect myself and my unborn child from whatever danger Drenver posed. My hand instinctively went to my belly, clutching the blanket tightly as if it could shield us from harm.

"Talk?" I echoed, my voice wavering with uncertainty.

"There's nothing left to say, Drenver."

I fumbled where my cell phone was. "You are not supposed to be here." I could feel my heart racing, the fear of the unknown tightening its grip on me.
