Haven't we suffered enough?

When Darcy and his family of three had just moved to the villa, Grace walked around the villa in awe while Darcy watched her with a happy smile. “Dad, why does this place look a bit different?” Marcus was also confused. This was obviously his home and yet after not coming back to more than 2 months, it looked like it had changed completely.

“This is the house your mother always envisioned.” Darcy spoke in a soft yet magnetic voice.

“I had always planned for this, but your mother decided to leave me stranded midway through the journey. I no longer had any dreams, and the house was left in its original state.” Darcy explained in a low, wronged voice “It wasn’t until the light returned that I remembered the dreams of my youth and the unfinished house.”
