Much to my horror, he turned around and faced me eyes wide open. Causing the blood on my face to drain, I was glued to the same spot momentarily watching him advance towards me slow and steady until Blake's shout jolted me awake.

He yelled the words "run" my legs darted on their own towards the left. Like a cheetah, I swiftly evaded every obstruction around my path. I was on a row not until I heard a gunshot, the shock was enough to push me to the ground.

I tumbled, hitting my head hard on the shelf. In an instant my vision turned blurry, with my head spinning like a disco ball. The masked man stepped into my vision, I felt an urgency to run yet my legs betrayed me, stuck to the ground like glue.
