With a simple pinch, my message was conveyed and he froze in his place. John, still trembling, remained motionless as I motioned for Cameron to depart. After giving John a subtle warning, Cameron walked away. Taking a deep breath, John cast one final glance at me before vanishing into the distance.

Suppressing my laughter, I watched him retreat in fear, his eyes darting around to ensure he wasn't being pursued. This was only the beginning; I would gradually expose his wicked deeds, piece by piece.

The rest of the day passed in a blur, as my companions avoided discussing the incident. Yet, I could hear their hushed whispers, attempting to conceal their curiosity. Blair had been rushed to the hospital, and since then, I had heard nothing about her. It seemed as though I had become invisible, fading into the background. And I was grateful for it, as it was preferable to receiving attention for all the wrong reasons.
