Cherry POV True to Tricia's word, no one came to my house. It has been two days since we last went out. "Tricia!" I called. "Yes, Cherry," Tricia answered. I was on my phone when a message popped up. It made me smile, but I knew what it meant. It should have been sent by one of Morgan's men. I showed Tricia the message, and she showed no emotion. You can never tell if she is sad, or happy. "We need to tread carefully today," I said. Our plan was to take Alex to Morgan the next day but at our time. From what I saw, Morgan's men wanted to roughly search every individual. "I guess I will put on my mask," Tricia said, and I nodded. "Moreover, I will be going out, but you won't come with me," I said. I could see that Tricia wanted to protest but later nodded. "Keep your mask on," I said, and she nodded. I would be going to Alex's house to remind him about our plan for the next day. We would be using his car, and Tricia would lead the way. Thankfully, Tricia said that she reme
Cherry POV The next day, I sat on my bed, deliberating on how the day was going to be. Nervousness got the best of me. I thought of Alex, our love, and Tricia. I won't worry about Alex, now my consideration is about Tricia. I was done dressing up and walked to the kitchen. I took up two eggs, broke one, and winked in a bowl, then poured it into a pot. When it was done, I did the same for my sister. I placed one in a bread and ate, then the other in another bread. "Tricia!" I called, getting to her room. I couldn't see her, and this made me more nervous. Soon, she walked out of the bathroom, smiling. She was also dressed. "Here, you can eat," I said, giving her a bread with drink. Done eating, we sat on our bed, discussing on how the day would be. "You don't look happy," Tricia said, and I smiled a little. "Let me know what is wrong." "I will let my love go," I said. Tricia shook her head, looking at me, pitifully. "I know how painful that can be," she said. "It's just l
Tricia POV Morgan led us upstairs, and I smiled. Thankfully, my sister is here which might be the reason he doesn't want me to stay down. While walking up, I heard the ground room door open, and a young lady came out. I continued staring at her beauty, but Cherry gave me a tap. "What's wrong?" Cherry asked, and I pointed to the lady. "It looks like he has been cheating," I said."Don't yet conclude, she looks younger," Cherry said. I nodded and turned to follow Cherry upstairs. Morgan stopped on his track and flashed a smile at the lady. "Good day, ladies," the lady said, and I huffed. Cherry smiled at this action of mine. "Who here is Tricia?" The young lady asked. "I am," I said. I wanted to tell her that I was the lady of the house, but I stopped. I didn't want to be the lady of the house. Neither do I want to get back to Morgan. "You will see them later," Morgan said, and the lady nodded. We followed Morgan, and he asked if I would like to sleep in his room, to whic
Morgan POV I woke up early in the morning and saw Theresa preparing some prime soup. We all knew that prime soup was always made specially for people with a problem, or pregnant women. Anyway, I excused myself from the kitchen, as she made the soup. She brought it out, and I let out a sigh. "Did Drake in any way injure you?" I asked, and she shook her head. Last night, before dispersing to the house that he is meant to be, Drake practiced a little with Theresa. Although they still had the sparkle of love, they trained so well. "Who then are you taking it to?" I asked. "Tricia," she said. Just mentioning the name Tricia made me smile. I remembered how she looked at Theresa on the last day. She feels that I am dating Theresa. "Do you think she would accept it?" I asked, and she looked on. "I don't know," she said. "But let me give her this." "Alright," I said, getting up. "Then I will accompany you." Theresa looked at me for some minutes, then nodded. Together, we walked
Tricia POV The revelation that I just got was terrifying. Alex was formally into robbery. I wanted more information, but Morgan chose not to give me anymore. "I can only show you pictures of the ones your father murdered, and those whom your brother drove to their graves," he said, and I sobbed. Although I sobbed, I chose to see who it was that my brother killed, and Morgan chose to show me when we got home. We sat in the car, and it drove till we reached home. Getting home, Cherry's eyes were red as she sat on the couch. Morgan fulfilled his promise by bringing out some pictures to me. "Have a look at all of them," he said and left. I began to shuffle through the pictures, and my eyes finally caught a picture. I remembered seeing the person, burning. Then, it looked like he was tired of life. Father and Alex sent me away from looking at him. It was the worst, and horrible race I had seen. Cherry joined me later, and I chose not to tell her, but she pestered me to tell her.
Tricia POV "If you scream, no one is going to help you," Morgan said. "I am going to look for that bastard who laid his hand on you." "A bastard?" I asked. "There is no bastard here, Morgan. You are my baby's father." I said. "How? What do you mean?" He asked. Tears started dropping from my face. Gosh!, I hate to love this man. "You are the father of my baby," I said. "That's all you should know, but I want a divorce." I started hitting on the door. "No one can hear you hit on the door," Morgan said, and I smiled. He turned me over to him and held my hands to the wall. "I love you so much, Tricia," he said. "Leaving me bore a hole in my heart." "You are hurting me," I said as his grip on my hand was tight. He left my hands, telling me that he was sorry, but before I could tell him anything, he covered my mouth with a kiss. "Please, let me know who the father of the baby is," he said. "Will you divorce me? Keep your promise," I said. Only now, did I see tears come out f
Tricia POV Waking up in the morning, I felt happy and walked out of the room. "Good morning," I heard someone greet me as I walked down. It was Theresa. "Good morning," I said, adjusting my eyes to see. Theresa was dusting the chair, although she was dressed in a sports attire. "Why are you dressed like this?" I asked her. "I'm going for sport with the Boss," she said. I took in a deep breath and walked to sit on one of the couches. Morgan walked down and asked if Theresa was ready. I felt sad, seeing that he didn't spare to glance at me even though Theresa pointed to me. They both jogged out, leaving me to suck in my pain. "I am strong," I said to myself and walked up. Cherry should still be asleep as we don't stay awake by this time. She always got up before me, but not today. Walking up the stairs, I miscalculated my footsteps and almost fell. I covered my mouth so that I wouldn't wake Cherry, and I stabilized my footsteps. My heart beat irrationally, and I let out
Tricia POV I said the right thing. We were never meant to be. "Tricia!" Morgan called, holding my hands. "I just want this to be over with." "What?" I asked, but he kept his mouth shut. I took in a deep breath and smiled, knowing that he wouldn't say anything. "I would like to see my brother," I said. "Not today," Morgan said. "Let's take our revenge," I said. "He does," Morgan said. Tears began to fall off my face. There are many times, I see Cherry alone in tears. She was definitely thinking of Alex. "Isn't there anything I can do to release him from death?" I asked. "Nothing, just him," Morgan said. "He will work in the cell, and whenever I am convinced, I will let him go." I rolled my eyes and punched him. "What if you aren't convinced?" I asked. "Then he does," Morgan said. "How many days does he have to convince you?" I asked. "Same days as I gave you," he said. "A month?" I asked, and he nodded. I shook my head, pitifully, thinking of Cherry. "Won't you
Tricia POV I looked at Morgan as he smiled. He was driving and smiling. Although I trusted his skills, I still feared that we might have an accident. We got home safely, and I got out of the car; my sister walked to stabilize me as I walked. Entering the house, Miranda greeted me while Ethan walked to me. I could see the excitement on his face as he held onto my hand. Morgan walked in and sat by my side but Ethan didn't look happy with this. He kept stamping his feet on the floor while Morgan smiled. "You look cute whenever you are angry," Morgan said. Those were the same words that he said to me when he didn't like me, so I asked for his reason for saying that. After explaining, I began to laugh. "Miranda," I called. Ethan's nanny walked to me and I thanked her for staying for the night with Ethan. "It's my pleasure," A tray was placed in front of me and Morgan fed me while Miranda took Ethan. Ethan screamed as he didn't want to be taken away but I needed some strength.
Morgan POV Waking up the next morning, I dressed and walked out. "Boss, are you ready to race?" I heard Alonso's voice. "..." I didn't know what to say. John walked down and greeted, he was about to say something but stopped when his gaze met mine. "Is he coming along with us?" I heard him ask Alonso who nodded. "I won't," I said. They both looked at me like I said something wrong. "Morgan!" Alonso called. "We know that you still think of your wife, but I will tell you to trust your instinct; Tricia is going to be found." I smiled and walked to take my seat. "This isn't because of her, but I would like to race with her, not men," I said. They busted into laughter as I ended my statement. "Weren't you racing with us before Tricia came into your life?" John asked. This made me to laugh. Finally, I gave in, but I didn't have my sporting shoes, so I wore one of my old canvas along with one of my sporting outfits. An hour later, we were both home, and I went to take a showe
Morgan POV I saw Tricia's call but she called me once. "Is she home?" I asked walking down the stairs. "No," Miranda replied. It could only mean one thing, and that is she is either in a bad condition or needs my help. My mind went to the shop, and I looked at Ethan, whose birthday was today. "Let me try calling her," I said picking up the phone. After three calls with no response, I walked up the stairs. "Track down Tricia's phone," I said to Alex. Few minutes later, he told me that the last time her phone had signal was a hour ago. My heartbeat hastened as I thought of what could possibly have happened to my Tricia. "I would be in the house soon," I said. Looking at Ethan, I felt a force pushing me to look for his mother. I left to the car and drove to the group house where I met only Alex, Jack, John and Miguel. "How are you, Miguel?" I asked. "How is business?" "All is well," he replied. I asked for the reason he was in the house and not with Camila. "Nothing," he
Tricia POV It was Ethan's one-year birthday. I kissed my son as I sang a birthday song for him. Ethan kept smiling as he stood. He looked at Miranda, who wasn't far, then looked to another side but kept looking, and I wondered what it was. "Ethan, it's your birthday," I said trying to make him concentrate on his face. He let out a scream of excitement looking at my back. I turned to see who it was, it was my husband. Ethan ran to his father although he wasn't stable. Anytime he fell, we laughed, and he also did the same thing. Morgan raised him up into his arms while he pointed to his cake. Miranda stood there smiling. "Alright, today is your birthday," Morgan said dropping him beside his cake. We sang joyfully while Ethan tried eating the cake. Next, we took a picture with him, and the workers also did. Finally, his nanny took a picture with him. Ethan screamed when it was taken away and I held him, trying to convince him that the cake would be brought soon. Soon, Nikita
Morgan POV It was another day, my plans were settled and I watched everything that was unfolding. I was still at home as the time I was to resume would be later. Tricia walked down, dressed, she was going to the complex. "Hey, honey," I said giving her a peck on her cheek. "Hi, Babe," she said. This was something that I didn't like calling on a normal day but I guess as they say, Love changes people. My love for Tricia can't be quenched. We walked to Ethan who smiled on seeing us. After touching his cheek, I walked away. I felt like he was calling out to me but I had an important business to do. Getting to the organization, everyone began to panic. A conference was called and everyone showed their panic. "Our secret has been leaked. Anyone who has done this should kindly signify and leave." I was surprised by how dull they were. "Haven't they been betrayed before? How can a betrayal say that they betrayed their trust?" I asked myself thoughtfully. Later, they found no o
Alex POV Cherry smiled looking at me as we sat together in my living room. We were now a married couple. I watched as she giggled. "I have a plan," I said and she turned to look at me. "I wish to discuss it with my wife." She giggled as I ended my statement then got up, placed her hand on my shoulder, then said, "What does my darling husband want to say to me?" Her words made me smile as I looked at her beautiful eyes. "I have been thinking of something," I began. "Since this is my father's house I plan that I should move into my house." "And then?" She asked. "We can sell or rent out this house," Cherry sighed deeply and asked if I had a house. "I bought one some time ago with the money that Morgan gave me," I said. "But it is under renovation." Cherry smiled and hugged me. "My body is all yours," she said and I smiled. "We've done this ever since." I walked to lock the door and walked to kiss Cherry. Just as I was about to penetrate her, she moved me away covering he
Tricia POV It has been three weeks since our last meeting, and finally, it was the day of my sibling's marriage. I got up early and joyfully and wanted to take Ethan's bath, but checking the time, I saw that I woke up quite early. "I am so excited," I said, hitting my head. Lying back on the bed, I tried to change some sleep but couldn't as my mind kept thinking of my sibling's marriage. My mind went to Miguel's marriage. It was small, nothing compared to his engagement party, but I was sure that my sibling's marriage would be different with Morgan involved. I looked at my darling husband who was very much still asleep. I felt like touching his handsome face but that would mean disturbing his sleep. Each time I tried to catch a sleep, all that came to my mind was my sibling's marriage. Suddenly, I saw Morgan sit up. I also sat up as he checked the time on his phone. "When did you wake up?" He asked me. "While you were asleep," I replied and told him the time. "That is qui
Morgan POV I laid Tricia's head on my lap. "We should be cool. Tomorrow is our group meeting, and I will be hosting it," I said. "What would you like us to take?" She asked. I understood what she meant by that but it wasn't necessary that someone eats. "What are you expecting tomorrow?" I asked her. "My siblings," she said giggling like a child. ... The next morning, I woke up to see Tricia staring into my face. I rolled her to the other side and kissed her passionately. Our passionate moment was short-lived as Ethan began to weep. "I should get to him," Tricia said. "Taken your bath?" I asked her and she nodded. She took Ethan to bath, and after, I walked to take my bath. "Morgan!" Tricia called when I was done dressing. "What should I tell Nikita to make for the group?" "Nothing," I said then gave her a peck. "We should only take our breakfast, it's not the annual group meeting." She nodded as I ended my speech. "Let's go out for a race," "But Ethan," she tried c
Morgan POV A week passed, and I sat with my lovely wife, discussing my plans for the day. "You said that you will take care of them, but how?" She asked. "Like always," I said. She shook her head and smiled. "Tell me, Mr. Loyd is alive," she said. I stared at her, not knowing what to say. I couldn't lie to her, but why did she ask this question? "I checked your phone last night and heard you telling Bernard how to handle him," she said. "Yes, he is," I said. She smiled and held firmly to my hand. "The old man will die soon and Bernard will be free from his trouble," "And Alexander Loyd?" I asked. She smiled covering her mouth. "Remember telling me not to involve him," she said. "I adhered to your advice." I held onto her hands romantically. "One hell of a mission that I got involved in was my last mission," I said. "Your behavior scared the hell out of me." Tricia wore a smirk as she watched me speak. "I only did that as my fear was greater than my faith in your m
