Chapter 5: Suddenly kiss

Dove gasped in surprise. She did not believe that Clara would find Marble here.

Clara continued to stare at the boy beside the table. She wished to know all the information about this person. She must get her Marble back. Suddenly, Clara turned to continue eating hotpot, not daring to look at the table anymore. She did not expect that the person sitting with that guy was Chris - her ex-boyfriend from high school.

Chris used to be madly in love with Clara, but she didn't care. Suddenly, she felt a bit of Marble's energy from him. Because to investigate the whereabouts of Marble, she agreed to be his girlfriend. But then, she ruthlessly kicked him. If he let him see her, her plan would surely fail.

Jonathan also sensed her strange gaze. She couldn't find him because he had gone abroad to study ten years ago. He has only returned home for two years.

"What are you looking at?" Jonathan asked Chris who his cousin's brother was.

"Nothing." Chris replied. He glanced at the two girls next to him. He felt familiar but couldn't remember anyone.

Clara dragged Dove with her to see the two men get up to leave the restaurant. Dove chuckled at Clara's funny stalking action. She did not expect ice queen Clara to have such loving moments.

Clara saw that Chris had left. She immediately went behind Johnathan. Today she must get the gem back. But it wasn't long before Johnathan turned to look at her. He looked at her with cold eyes. In fact, from the very beginning, Jonathan noticed that she was following him. But he still did not expose her but waited for the opportunity to see what her purpose was.

"Why are you following me? Jonathan asked in a harsh voice. He gradually lost his patience and looked at Clara. He didn't understand why this girl was following him. Did she want to follow him?

If Clara could read Jonathan's mind, she would surely call him a narcissist. She just stood there, saying nothing, looking at him. But then she stared at his lips and had a bold idea.

Jonathan saw that Clara did not answer him. He turned around and continued walking. But just as he turned around, he was pulled back by Clara's hand.

"What do you want from me?" Jonathan was beginning to be unhappy. He didn't understand what this girl wanted from him anymore.

Unable to wait any longer, Clara suddenly pulled Jonathan's tie with her hand. He suddenly followed his inertia and fell towards her. Her strength took him by surprise. He was about to swing his hand away from her, but it was too late.

Clara suddenly tiptoed to give Jonathan a passionate kiss. Jonathan opened his eyes wide and looked at her. His lips quickly left her sweet lips.

Jonathan stood dumbfounded, looking at her. This strange girl stole his first kiss. It's hard to believe that a talented, handsome 30-year-old man like him has never loved or kissed anyone. But that is true.

After recovering from his illness, he didn't seem to be moved by anyone. Is this due to the magical power of Marble?

"Why is nothing happening?" Clara, disappointed, said. She thought that after kissing him, Marble would answer her. But unexpectedly, this kiss had no effect at all.

Jonathan can't stand Clara. She forcibly kissed him and expressed disappointment. Do you have a mental problem?

"Don't let me see you again, or I'll call the police!" he told her and then left without looking at her face.

Dove is now approaching Clara's place. She had been hiding in the distance to watch their actions. She did not expect Clara to act as a blatantly forced kiss.

"Follow me!" Clara said and pulled Dove with her. She had to keep an eye on him. The two girls kept following him until they reached a big company.

Jonathan also senses someone is following him. But when he turned back, he saw no one.

The two girls stood in front of the Omen comic book publisher and were surprised. According to the two of you, he must be working here. Never had his company been so close to the two of you. However, she had not felt Marble's energy for a long time.

After returning home, Clara immediately looked up all the information of Omen's publisher on the internet. She gasped when she found out that the CEO was him. This publisher has only been established for two years but is extremely popular. The comic books of this company are selling very well.

Clara is overjoyed to see that the company is recruiting. Her luck came again.

"I will become an employee of his company!" Clara spoke to Dove in a determined tone. She will infiltrate his company and get Marble back.

"What do you plan to do next after joining the company?" Dove wondered.

"I do not know!" Clara replied because she was thinking of such a plan.

"You should remember that only when he volunteers can you get your Marble back!" Dove reminded me. Clara forgot the critical rule about the magic stone.

Suddenly Clara had a crazy idea.

"I will make him fall in love with me!" Clara said while laughing in excitement. When he fell in love with her, Jonathan volunteered to return Marble to her.
