He kept his hands in his pockets, not feeling disgust or repulsion, but not feeling entitled to touch her, even though she was his wife.

"It's ready, you can take her," Oliver entered the lab, informing Morgan, who was still hesitating about what to do.

Oliver and Gantz exchanged confused looks, questioning with their eyes.

"Alright, I'll take her," Morgan said.

"Are you sure? I can take her if you're feeling uncomfortable," Oliver offered.

"No, Hanna is my responsibility," Morgan replied, picking her up in his arms. He thought she would wake up, but she was at the peak of exhaustion. He walked through the empty university corridor and into the dormitory hallway. He had requested an empty room, and it wasn't difficult to get one since Morgan was so influential and well-known.

He entered the simple room, with a single bed and a bunk bed, and placed Hanna on the bed. She nestled in, appreciating the softness of the mattress, and Morgan smiled at this.
