Morgan stood like a mountain, hands in his pockets, staring at Hanna with an inscrutable look. She, in turn, wished for a place to hide. She raised her hands to her lips, snapping back to reality.

"What did you deduce from this, Miss Danica? Are you satisfied?" he asked coldly.

Hanna was still petrified when Morgan's expression shifted to one of curiosity.

"My first kiss..." she pressed her lips together, squinting as if she regretted it, making Morgan raise his eyebrows.

"I hope you’re satisfied, but don’t be mistaken in thinking I feel anything for you. I've already made sure that you do feel something..."

"I already said!" she interrupted vehemently. "You’re not the kind of man I’d fall in love with. Besides, I was just testing you, but I didn't think you’d let me kiss you. Why didn't you turn away?" she asked grumpily.
