"That can't be." Ella laughed. " It must be some kind of joke."

She dialled the number she had always used to contact her grandmother.

"Hello Summer," and old ladies raspy voice came through the phone.

"Grandma Iris. How are you?" Ella asked with a cheery voice.

Patrick looked at his daughter who held out her phone. She had it on loud speaker and Patrick could here the woman's voice clearly.

"Iris. Is that you?" Patrick did not believe that it was her.

"You son of a gun. Patrick." The old woman said in a joking way which convinced him that it was his mother in law after all.

"I thought you were dead. I saw a funeral post on social media a few months ago." Patrick replied.

"Oh that thing. The children in the tribe got a hold of my phone. It was new technology for them. They don't use technology here, so when they came across my phone, they just had to try this new app." Grandma Iris chuckled. " Where have you been all these years Patrick?"
