Ella walked out of the large hand carved doors of her home. The sun was shining and a light breeze made the air warm and scented.Ella took in deep nostrils full of summer rose fragrance air and smiled as she felt a burst of nostalgia. She remembered her first day of kindergarten, her mom and dad had left her that morning. The driver opened the door for her and she sat at the back with her white backpack on her lap.The ride was fairly short and when she reached the drop off zone at the school, she expected to be the only one being dropped off by a limousine, unfortunately that was not the case. This school was for the elite and every person that attended was children from very wealthy families.Ella knew she would fit in perfectly, she didn't have to pretend that she was something she wasn't. She had always tried to join the popular kids in Salt Rock but that didn't work out too well for her. She tried to act wealthy but no one would buy it. She was just another average class kid in
"I know Patrick Ray personally. The director of this school." Ella walked up to her fathers frame and pointed at it." And if I want to, I can have you fired instantly."The second receptionist gasped loudly, but she dare not open her mouth to make any accusations."Oh yeah. Your probably in his pants that's why!" Marge challenged Ella. " I know him for years. Do you think that some little whore like you will change his mind? Patrick is a man of standards . Maybe you are in his bed but you are definitely not in his head."Ella burst out laughing." Please do call him so we can clear up this misunderstanding before you say any more insulting words that you cannot take back."" Do you think I am scared. You are a whore and a slut and you have slept your way into this school. No one just gets a place here unless they have bribed their way in. You may be wealthy but u think you are dumb. You don't have the brains to impress the director so you use your charm." Marge picked up the phone and
" Why would you want to beg her not to rat us? Just let her tell. What her stupid father is going to do?" Marge mocked."Fire your ass." Ella smirked as she pressed the send button. After a few minutes of a stare down the ringing of the office phone broke the eery silence.Ella smirked. "Hello." Marge's sweet voice echoed in the room. She tapped the button an the call was now on loud speaker." Mrs Marge. Did I not tell you that my Ella is an exceptional student. She does not need her father's backing to get into the school!" Patrick was cheerful. Ella was confused, Patrick should have been angry at the way the rude receptionist spoke.Mr Willis began to clap loudly, followed by Marge and the other receptionist.Ella stood silently wondering what they were up to."Mr Ray. Your daughter is in deed and excellent candidate. " Marge she smile now reached her eyes. She was a beautiful woman now, not like moments ago when she spat out venomous words."What is wrong with you people?" Ella a
" Do you have an extra pen?" James held out his hand.Ella picked up her pencil case." I am so sorry. I just have this one." She held the fancy unicorn pen in her hand.Without warning, James snatched the pen from her hand." This will do."Ella felt her blood boiling but she had no intention of taking back her pen. He was starting to get on her nerves and she inched slowly away from him." You have a spare book?" As soon as he asked the question he snatched her book from her table. She was starting to find him obnoxious.People around her just stared but did not say anything.Ella guessed he was the class bully. She wouldn't let him get away with his ways and made a mental note she conquer him. He will bow at her feet, pleading for forgiveness.Ella took out a small book and a pencil from her bag. She looked at him from the corner of her eye. He was still looking at her."You have any lunch?" He asked."No." Ella spat out. He was getting on her nerves now.She ignored him as he tried
" Are we all going to get gastro? Do you think there was something wrong with the donuts?" Someone in the room asked loudly."I doubt it guys. He just probably had diarrhea from the germs from his nose. Does anyone else notice that he picks his nose?" Ella asked loudly. The room fell silent and everyone stared at Ella.Ella could not figure out why they were all silent."Do you know who he is?" The girl across her asked."James Wallas. The boy who took my pen and my book. He ate my donut and he picks his nose." Ella rolled her eyes. " He is the directors son." The girl replied." No one ever dares to speak about him.""I don't care who he is." Ella replied. She knew he wasn't Patrick's son. " How do you know that he is?""He told us." The girls replied.Ella looked at her blonde hair and thought of her as a dumb blonde. How can they possibly take his word for it." Wow. Well I don't care. " Ella smirked.People started to mumble amongst themselves but soon stopped when James Wallas re
Ella began to write again. Thoughts flooded into her brain and she wrote down in almost a scribble."The enchanted ring." Willow watched him enter the diner, there was a hollow feeling in the pit of her stomach. A chill in the air made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. She could feel that something was not quite right but she couldn't put her finger on it.She stared at Gregory Green and his group of associates, crossing her fingers that someone else would wait on them tonight. She had been their waitress for the last six months, she wondered if it was coincidence or sheer luck that she would be the only waitress available. The Denny Diner was small but it was always busy. They sold good food and the atmosphere was always cheery. She guessed that was the reason that a billionaire like Gregory Green was here every Tuesday.Willow hated Tuesday's, it meant that she had to wait on Gregory Green and his crew, hand and toe making sure they were satisfied with their service. She di
The adrenaline courses through her veins as she got excited and started to write down the action that played out in her head."The mafias little secret."She struck it out and started again."Runaway with me."" Get off me. Let me go", Edith screamed. The tears streamed down her pink plump cheeks. It was just after five o clock and the sun was setting rapidly on this cold winters day. The wind blew gently and the smell of snow lingered in the air. Edith stayed late at the school park with Connor, her best friend because she didn't want to go home to her misfit family. Although she loved her family dearly, they were indifferent towards her. Everyone was, always calling her a weirdo. Edith never understood why. Maybe it was because things that cannot be explained, happened when she was angry or upset. But it could always be a coincidence. She regretted staying late instantly when darkness crept in and the few streetlights that worked were dim, making it hard to see clearly. As she walk
Ella didn't sleep that night. She decided to write her first draft. Once she was done she read it over and over, checking the spelling and grammar. Finally she took out her laptop and typed out her assignment. The birds started to chirp and the rays of sun came through her window just as she typed." The end."Her alarm clock went off and Ella knew that she had no time to waste. She took a quick shower and changed into a jeans and top. She tied her hair in a messy bun and pressed print. She waited by the scanner ,tapping her fingers on it impatiently.Once all twenty pages were completed, she grabbed a portfolio file and binded it into a booklet. She smiled at her hard work.Grabbing her bag , she dashed into the kitchen. She snatched the today from her father's hand and kissed him goodbye.Ella felt proud of herself as she dropped of her assignment on the professors desk that morning. He looked at her with a smile on his face."This is the first one I have received do far."Ella smile
