Chapter 139. Grandma Iris

The big day had come and the town was busy.

It was one of the biggest festive events they had ever hosted. Other than the carnivals and the fair , this was by far the most democratic thing they have hosted since they elected the mayor.

Ella walked around the grounds and visited food stalls. There were a wide selection of dairy and meats, fast foods and home made dishes.

It reminded her of when her mother had brought her to the fair for the very first time, she had wanted to try every dish at every stall but they couldn't afford it. It made her feel a little bit sad inside when she had thought of the woman she knew as her mother all along.

Her childhood memories were full of her , some good , some bad and some just a foggy memory of what it should of been like instead of what it was.

Today Ella decided to try every stall and every dish. She coaxed her father and Annie to join her.

"Come on. We will get one dish of each item on the menu and taste them all. Then we will try every stall.
