Lexi's pov

Soaked and sitting by the fire I shivered wondering if either of my mates was trying to find me.

I refused to even glance at Stanley, I didn't want him to think that I cared at all about him.

Neither did I want to encourage his obsession with me, I thought bitterly but needed to find out more about his plans.

Stanley stuffed another log onto the fire and I could see that he had this whole kidnapping planned.

There was a large stack of dry cut-up logs set nicely beside the fireplace.

“When did you find this place,” I asked curiously.

Side-eyeing me, his lip curled.

“If I tell you that then you will think of me as a horrible, dishonest individual,” he replied cryptically.

Furrowing my brow I huffed, “I can't think any less of you so you might as well spill it!”

Running his fingers through his wet locks he inhaled sharply and looked hard at me.

Please please do NOT have Mini be the next kidnapper. I'm so tired of kidnappings. The only other thing I dislike almost as much is amnesia. Hope this gets better soon.
