Emelda’s POV

The morning sun shone brightly as its warm rays kissed my skin as I stepped into it, making my way towards the bus stop.

As I took in the scent of the early morning breeze, my thoughts turned to Bryan, his face and body still fresh in my memory as I recalled the event of the night, my heart skipping a beat and fluttering as I thought of him.

Jonathan's death had hit him hard, I actually didn't think he was going to be able to take it.

I never thought I'd see this side of him, I thought to myself, my mind filled with admiration and respect for the strength he was showing, the way he was handling his grief with such grace and poise was imitable.

As I boarded the bus, the sounds of traffic and conversation filled the air around me, but that didn't distract me one bit as I continued to relive last night's experience over again in my head.
