Raymond did not sleep throughout the night. He made sure he reached a conclusion.
He remained seated waiting for when it would be his turn to see the Mayor. This was the first time he would visit him in his office.
Everyone he had come across in the building looked at him in a strange way. A way that was shouting 'you will never get to see the mayor'. Maybe that was due to his face that wasn't familiar to them or because he looked like a lowlife which he was.
Raymond believed he would see him. They were like family friends. The inky reason he wouldn't get to see him was if Mayor Mount was not aware of his visit.
