2024-10-29 19:42:56"Raymond has been kidnapped" Grace spat out breathlessly before Mayor Mount could take a seat. She had already told him on phone and was surprised to see him so calm. That only meant she didn't take her serious.
"Kidnapped?" Mayor Mount seemed not to believe his ears. He couldn't understand why anyone would want to kidnap Raymond. He was definitely thinking Grace was not sure of what she was saying.
Grace nodded affirmatively. That was the only thing that could have happened. A car driven violently followed by series of beating. It only translated to kidnap in her comprehension and understanding.
"When was that?" Mayor Mount asked again. He adjusted himself as he sat down. He was very relaxed. He was surely thinking there was no cause for alarm.
