Jennifer's POV

I had a perfect plan to overturn Logan's intention to officially declare a concubine. But I never thought it would be Renae.

When I sighted June, I knew I was doomed. I only waited to confirm my doom so I waited until Renae was unveiled.

My mouth went dry and my legs buckled. How could she return alive? I thought Archer killed her five years ago.

I was shocked. With my mouth sagging, I ran my fingers shakily through my decorated headgear, almost pulling it off.

This wasn't part of my plan, I did not see it coming, I had forgotten all about her. I thought that she was dead.
