Suprised

A man is sitting quietly at a large board meeting. Nicholas, he's sitting in the leader's chair. Although he looks calm but his heart is bored.

"I should have accepted the offer, Matheo, to go on vacation last week." he regretted his decision.

Nicholas stood up as he slowly backed his chair, suddenly it made the other employees surprised.

Because Nicho never stood up during the meeting.

"Today's meeting will end here." said Nicho then immediately left the meeting room.

The entire audience who attended the meeting were suddenly stunned. They whispered to each other, and conveyed their fears to each other. They were afraid that they had made a mistake that made Nicho suddenly stop the meeting this time.

Matheo who was there was also as surprised as the others. Matheo stood up as soon as Nicholas left the meeting room.

"To everyone, don't worry. None of you have made a mistake. Go back to your respective study rooms, and we'll postpone this meeting for the time being." Matheo said before leaving the meeting room and following Nicholas.

Matheo knocked on Nicholas' door, and immediately opened it slowly.

"What's wrong? It's not like you usually leave and end the meeting so suddenly." Matheo asked in amazement to Nicholas who was sitting at the window of his study.

Nicholas turned his chair and looked at Matheo who was standing in front of him.

"I'm bored, and tired too. I'd like to accept your offer to vacation in Bali." said Nicholas seriously.

Matheo rolled his eyes.

"Is that true?" asked Matheo to confirm.

Nicholas nodded, confirming Matheo's question.

"Of course, so I ask you to prepare all the things for me there. Especially the accommodation, I want a place to live that faces the beach." said Nicholas

Matheo nodded firmly.

"Of course, of course. I will prepare all the things you need there. Do you need a comfort woman to accompany your worries?" Matheo teased Nicholas.

Nicholas threw his ballpoint pen at Matheo and it hit Matheo's head.

Matheo groaned in pain,

"Ah... You!" Matheo growled.

"You should speak carefully. There are no comfort women in this world. Women are of high nature and should be respected. I don't think a Playboy like you would understand that." Nicholas said to Matheo.

Matheo snorted in annoyance, he looked lazily at Nicholas.

"It's up to you. I will go to take care of your needs there. When do you want to vacation there?" Matheo asked before leaving Nicholas' room.

"Immediately." said Nicholas.

"Okay." Matheo said then he immediately left Nicholas' room.

After Matheo left, Nicholas took a deep breath.

"I think I really need a vacation. The image of Alena always haunts me. Have I failed to forget her?" Nicholas thought to himself and asked himself.

While outside the room, Matheo immediately contacted Alenzo. Father of Nicholas.

{Hello, Pa. Nicho agrees to take a vacation. He wanted to leave immediately but didn't tell me the exact date when he wanted to leave. How?" Matheo asked in a whisper through his cell phone call.

"You just prepare the flight ticket tomorrow. Let the kid get a break as soon as possible. I'm afraid he's depressed from work and a breakup. Oh, my poor son. Matheo, you take care of Nicholas as soon as possible." Alenzo said to Matheo on his cell phone.

"Ready, Mr. Alenzo. I'll do it, but remember my bonus." said Matheo giggling.

Alenzo was heard sighing heavily.

"I'll give you a month off, if Nicho comes back with a woman." said Alenzo challenging Matheo.

Matheo swallowed his saliva.

"How is that possible? Can Nicho get a woman there?" mumbled Matheo.

"Well, you just pray a lot, Old Man." Matheo said.

"You brat, you bad boy." said Alenzo.

Matheo immediately turned off his cellphone. Hearing Alenzo getting annoyed with him, Matheo immediately turned off his cellphone so he wouldn't hear Alenzo grumbling any longer.

"Hihi, I've always liked to joke, Old Man, that." said Matheo giggling.

Matheo immediately walked to his room which was next to Nicholas' room.

Matheo started to prepare all the things that Nicholas needed when he was in Bali. Likewise with plane tickets.

Nicholas was sitting quietly in his work chair while his hands were busy playing with his cellphone. He is looking for a tourist spot that he wants to visit in Bali later.

"Beautiful places, I think this place will be a good place to heal." mumbled Nicholas.

Suddenly.... Nicholas' cell phone rang. Nicholas immediately picked up the phone from Alenzo, his father.

{Hello, Pa.} Nicholas greeted Alenzo.

{Hello, son. Papa heard that you agreed to go on vacation to Bali.} said Alenzo,

Nicholas snorted in annoyance, he was sure Alenzo got this news from Matheo.

{Surely, Matheo, told you didn't he?} Nicholas asked.

{It doesn't matter who tells. Who wants, Papa, to know whether it's true or not.} Alenzo said.

{Yes, that's right.} Nicholas said resignedly.

{Okay.} Alenzo said then immediately turned off his cell phone.

Nicho frowned as he looked at his phone. Nicholas shrugged his shoulders, not wanting to bother anymore.

Nicho's office phone rang after that. Nicholas immediately picked up the phone.

{Hell-} Nicholas interrupted.

{Open your email} Matheo cut off Nicholas' greeting. Matheo immediately hung up without letting Nicholas answer.

Nicholas stared at his office phone in confusion.

"Why are people so weird these days." he muttered in amazement.

Nicholas quickly put his phone back down and quickly checked his email.

Nicholas rolled his eyes.

"MATHEO!" cried Nicholas furiously.
