I wasn't going to answer that question. The only condition in which I would answer it is if I actually wanted to be dropped dead. Dad was not the type that liked people listening in on his conversations and worse when he was angry, he knew very well how to transfer that aggression to another person.

The best thing was to keep shut but with the way he looked at Tony and I, I kne that even keeping quiet would put me in a ton of trouble. My hands were shaking. It was not that I feared my father but the truth was that i grew up being beaten by him a lot and currently, I didnt know why he would be upset about most things but I knew that the man loved to use his hands more than his words.

Mom was always the one who knew how to calm him down but now that mom had left, he was just a walking ticking bomb and I always knew how to set him off.
