Chapter 99

We left home after breakfast and got to school just in time before our second lecture for the day. We had missed the first because we were hoping that we would get more information about our research from the horses mouth.

But when Deborah came back after her call, all she could talk about was her daughter and how she actually knew the guy and had feelings for him. My heart broke the more I heard someone else say it.

She wasn't supposed to have feelings for the guy, she was supposed to have feelings for me but somehow, it was very difficult for her to do that and yet, she chosed to be with a man who did not give a hoot about her. A man that I knew was using her for the most stupid reasons and soon, I was going to find out what that reason was.
