ARIA’S POV​

The next day, I wake up in a foul mood, the remnants of last night’s encounter with Adam clouding my mind. It feels as though a storm is brewing within me, and I’m carrying it to work. As soon as I step into the office, the tension in my shoulders is obvious, and everyone seems to notice. It’s not long before my frustration begins to seep into my interactions.

The smallest inconvenience sets me off—a missed deadline, a forgotten meeting, or a misplaced file. My voice is sharp, cutting through the usual hum of the office, and I find myself lashing out for no apparent reason.
