ADAM’S POV

Oh, Lord! How it tears at me to see Aria like this—so distant, so cold. Every time I reach out, she pulls further away, her eyes filled with anger and hurt. I can't blame her, not after everything I've put her through, but that doesn't make it any easier to bear.

Watching her slip through my fingers, day after day, is like watching my entire world crumble around me. She used to be my light, my reason for everything, and now… now she can barely stand to look at me.
