As I looked up from the book, I found hope shimmering in her eyes after a long time. A confident smile was claiming her face as after days of struggle, she finally saw some light at the end of the tunnel.

“That’s where the witches come in,” She said, “I’ve read in this book that few witches are capable of breaking the soulmate bond created by forcefully marking someone. When one of the partners is unhappy in a relationship, the witches can help break their bond. It is possible in my case too, as there is no part of me that wants to be with that monster.
