131. A solution

My first thought was to go back outside before Bella could notice that I had come in. I didn’t want to impose myself on her after being told that she preferred to be left alone. Moreover, I haven’t spoken to her since Lucien left, and I wasn’t sure what she thought of the whole situation. Like Marcus, she could have been upset with me for trying to meddle in her business.

When I finally had the time to examine my surroundings properly, I was confused. Piles of books lay scattered on the floor with a few pages torn. A few canvases were shredded and a few destroyed completely. It was chaotic, and it was enough to make me wander inside to check if Bella was okay. As I walked in, I found Bella in the center of the room with numerous papers by her side. Her hair was in disarray as she bent down to read the content of the book that she was holding.

Kiara should learn from the abduction incident and let Mark know about Bella’s condition. We don’t want any further misunderstandings between Mark and Kiara. More lovely moments between the two pls as second chance mate should have even more beautiful bond ...️
