Third person. The Alpha king remained fixed on the spot as though he had just seen a ghost. He gulped down hard and wiped sweats off his forehead after which he swirled around to take a closer look at Kayla. “Kayla?” He called again for the hundredth time, looking at her closely and blinking his eyes as though she would vanish the next minute he opens them. He walked closer to her and touched her, almost jerking up in shock when he realized that her body was really there in the room with him. “How is this possible?” He asked himself again, watching how Kayla gazed at him with an interesting look on her face. She had a thousand things to say, but all she could do at the moment was stare calmly. “You didn’t die?” He asked again. Kayla let out a small chuckle after which she folded her hands to her chest and shook her head negatively. “I’m so sure you wanted me dead as well. Well, I’m sorry, but I didn’t die”, she dropped, staring into his eyes with a cold gaze that sent co
Jason. It was finally the supposed day of our wedding. We didn’t really seem so concerned because Kayla already assured us that everything would be fine and there won’t be any wedding. I had no idea of what she planned to do but there was a certain level of peace in my heart. Ashley already came to visit me, with panic written all over her face. I could tell that Kayla already paid her a visit. “I don’t think everything is right. Are you sure that Kayla is dead?” Ashley had asked, breathing heavily while I only hissed and kept mute. I hated the fact that she always threw herself on me. “And why are you so worried about that?” I asked Ashley, trying so hard to withhold the laughter that threatened to escape my lips. She gulped down hard and darted her eyes around as though she would find the shadows of Kayla wandering around. “I don’t know…I just feel as though she would come out somehow and ruin our day”, Ashley explained while I chuckled calmly and kept mute. “You shoul
Third person. The alpha king walked into the scene, with a massive frown on his face. His countenance was in contrast to what he was meant to look like on a day like this. The entire pack was quite puzzled at this, but none of them dared opened their lips to say a word. The Alpha king took a seat at the far end just as he stared at his sons and their supposed brides. There was a look of disdain in his eyes just as his gaze rested on Ashley and Bianca. After what seemed like ages, he cleared his throat and stood up. “This wedding will not hold”, he dropped and immediately, the entire pack turned their attention to him. Kayla was there at the wedding, but she was in an invincible form that made it impossible for anybody to see her. Immediately the Alpha king dropped what he had just said, she let out a soft smile in her heart. Jason and the rest of the quad knew what was going and at this, they tried so hard to withhold the laughter that stirred in their hearts. “What?
KAYLA. I stood at the far end of the hall, with my disguise carefully in place just as I watched the drama taking place in the hall. I felt a great surge of relief just as I watched the shocked look on Bianca and Ashley’s faces. That was the highlight of the entire event. “Why would the Alpha King suddenly call off the wedding? Did something go wrong?” I heard some people whispering around and a bigger smirk spread across my face. “Did he find out something?” Another asked just as I adjusted my cloak to cover my face properly. I had come out of my invisible form but was still staying as a disguised guest. It was nothing of such. The Alpha king was working according to my orders! Ashley was at a corner, crying her eyes out and so as Bianca. I stared at them and couldn’t help but recall every single time they tormented my existence ever since I came into the pack. Who would have thought or imagined that a day would come when they would be crying their eyes out because of
Third person. Kayla returned back to the pack because Jason had told her that there wasn’t any need to remain in the shadows and pretend that she was dead. Everyone had to know that she was alive and there is nothing that can be done about it. At this, she took off her cloak and returned back to meet with Ashley and Bianca who were still nursing the pain that came with the wedding chaos. “Hello, girls”, Kayla said with a big frown on her face, staring at the girls who suddenly froze the minute they heard her voice. Ashley was the first to lift her head. She looked at Kayla who was standing before them with a fierce look on her face. There was something unsettling about this particular Kayla and despite how hard they wanted to shove it aside, they could not. She smelt like trouble and drama. “Kayla….are you real?” Ashley asked and touched Kayla who flinched as though she just got touched by a pest. Bianca let out a small scream of frustration after which she started cryi
Third person. It was evening already. The pack house was so quiet as though nothing serious earlier happened. The quad were now sitting at the garden, with Kayla who was looking into their eyes without saying a single word. It was time for Kayla to explain her plans and she couldn’t help but hope that they would understand. The seer had told her that the quad would be a great help to her mission and she couldn’t shove that aside. “You all are my mates and helpers too”, Kayla said as she gulped down and stared at all of them. She was going to choose just one of them at the end, but that would be after she found out who killed her mother.
Third person. Ashley and Bianca couldn’t sleep all through the night. Each time they recalled that Kayla was back into the picture, they felt outrageously uncomfortable. Bianca felt off too and so did Ashley. They believed that a part of their memory was missing, but it was quite hard to place their hands on what it might be. “We should head back to the academy. We can figure out what is going on and something that can be used against Kayla”, Ashley suggested to Bianca who stared at her intently and nodded her head in affirmation. “That makes sense”, Bianca announced.
Kayla. It was nighttime. It seemed as though I was the only person awake in the entire pack. I paced around my room just as I tried to think of the best way to start my plans. Even though the plans appeared to be moving forward and the quad already gave me an assurance of their full support, I couldn’t deny the fact that I still felt scared. I wasn’t their real family after all. I was only a step sister and my mother was no more alive. At this, I had great doubts that they would take my side against that of their father. I was yet to tell them that I suspected their father as the person responsible for my mothers death because I could tell that it would be a very sensitive topic for them. After a long time of thinking and swimming in my world of confusion, I decided to go take a night walk and visit the alpha king. The impatience was burning within me and it felt as though things would go sour if I waste another time in my investigation. Just as I walked around the quiet pack hou
