“What other condition are you talking about?” Kayla asked the seer who cleared her throat and shut her eyes for a moment.

She chuckled lightly after which she laid back on the bed and turned off the small lamp that illuminated the entire room.

“It’s time to sleep, Kayla. You must not know about everything all at once”, she said to Kayla who was beginning to get angry because of how she pushed off things that were meant to be important.

All through the night, Kayla barely got any sleep. She tossed from one side of the bed to the other, wincing in pain each time she felt the pain on her legs.

Once it was daybreak, Kayla was already up and waiting for the seer.

“You haven’t told me your name”, Kayla asked the minute she stood up and drew the blinds open.

She smiled calmly and walked over to Kayla.

“Call me Barbara. Not everyone knows me by this name. Most people prefer to call me the dark seer”, she explained to Kayla who nodded her head in understanding.
