It was high time we closed up the rift we had with Kayla. She was going to win either ways and we were only hurting ourselves by extending the entire situation.

All I craved for was utmost peace. I wanted us to be at peace with our mate and return to the times when we stayed together joyfully.

However, it seemed as though that wasn’t forthcoming because each step we took only led to more disaster. Our father was being stubborn and that infuriated Kayla to the core.

Now the question was “what should be done?”

“How about we tell the entire park what our father did to your mother?” I asked with a voice that sounded like a whisper.
