Third person. There was tension in the pack. Pack members had no idea of what was going on, but every single person couldn’t deny the fact that they felt the tension. There was something amiss and it came with Kayla’s presence. Kayla seemed to be fierce and very much different. Even, no one dared come close to her because of fear of getting hurt. She knew that she couldn’t stay at the pack for long. She wanted to get her revenge and go somewhere far where she could start her life without the quad. But then, she needed their help to get their revenge and it was strange. She needed them to choose between her and their father.
Ethan. I never knew that I would be in a situation like this, but things had to be done. Kayla was bent on taking out her revenge on my father and this scared me to death. My father had killed her mother and from how hurt she was about it, I could tell that she would kill him if she had the opportunity to do that. For another time, I wanted to have a talk with her. I felt the hurt she felt, but it would be unwise of me to stay still and watch her take out her revenge on my Dad.
Kayla. From where I sat, I stared at the moon, many things going through my mind. The moon goddess had given me such a power that made me the most feared person in the entire world, but somehow, it still felt as though I was scared. The quad were scared of me too. I saw it in their eyes. It wasn’t out of place for them to be scared. I had come back with a fierce desire for revenge and that was enough to make them shocked to their bones. I made it clear that their father must pay for what he did to my mother and even if they didn’t really fight it, I saw the reluctance in their eyes.“They are our mates. They would take our side”, my wolf whispered in my head and I sighed deeply. Truly, I didn’t know about that. Inasmuch as they expressed happiness to have me back at the pack, I knew they were bothered that my presence would bring doom and chaos in the pack. “Take in a deep breath and relax. You shouldn’t be scared of anything. Perhaps, no one can place their hands on you”, my wol
Ethan. I could feel the distance lingering in my heart. Despite how hard I tried to ignore it, I could feel it at the depth of my heart. Kayla returned a different person and we couldn’t place our hands on the best way to go about the change. She was certainly pissed at us because of how we abandoned her at a point where she really needed us. However, how were we meant to tell her that we did what we did in order to save her life since our father already threatened to kill her if we go after her. We couldn’t explain this to her because none of us had the nerves to do so. Doing so would make it look as though we were cowards who couldn’t come over and fight for our mate, despite the threat. This evening, I was taking a stroll around the pack house when I caught sight of Kayla sitting at a corner, lost in thoughts and wearing a massive frown. One could tell that she has a lot in her mind and whatever it was disturbed her to the core. I wore a smile as I folded my hands to my chest
KaylaWe were now sitting together, with our eyes fixed on the sky that sparkled beautifully with the stars that illuminated the night. Ethan remained quiet for a while, his face revealing how bothered and disturbed he was about something. I could tell what he was thinking about. I mean, I had the powers to do that. “I don’t think of letting go of my revenge plans”, I decided to start the conversation since I already knew what he was thinking about. Ethan threw a sharp gaze at me as though I caught him by surprise, after which he sighed deeply and returned his eyes to the sky. “I forgot that you now read minds. Didn’t I tell you never to read mine without telling me?” He asked with a small frown while I smiled softly to lighten up the atmosphere. I could tell that this was not the right time to share a smile, but I had to. He was still Ethan, one of my mates.“Kayla..you know, he is our father”, Ethan dropped and for a minute I thought that I’ve just heard wrongly. I had been tr
Third person. Kayla was laying on her bed, staring at the ceiling blankly and allowing the tears that poured out of her eyes to drop down her cheeks as it liked. She was blank and unable to figure out what she was doing at the moment. Her heart screamed for revenge, but another part of her heart wished to find warmth in the arms of her mates. She tossed on her bed again, sighing deeply when she couldn’t stop the countless thoughts that swirled around her head. Slowly, she allowed sleep to finally take a hold of her and her entire being. The next morning, she woke up to the sound of soft knocks coming from the door. She squinted her eyes and sluggishly got out of bed, being careful to avoid hitting her legs on the couch that laid by the corner. It was a servant, one who wore a very bright smile on his face. Kayla let out a small scoff after which she folded her hands to her chest and glared at him. She recalled who he was vividly. Apart from the quad girlfriends, he was part of
Third person. Kayla walked into the living room with a very cold demeanor. Presently, not a single person in the pack was on her good book…not her mates and most certainly, not her step father who would prefer that she died already. “Breakfast time?” Kayla asked as she turned her eyes to the quad who were sitting around the table with their father. The Alpha King had a strange look on his face. He looked greatly disturbed by whatever it was he had talked about with his sons. Kayla cared less about this. As long as she was concerned, she was in charge and was going to act like it.
