Myra's P.O.V

I'm happy for my soon to be child. Of course this is my child, I will have a child... But the guilt is still in my heart that I know it is wrong and a mistake.

But no, like My Mom, I will also love my child like how my Mom loves me.

We are here today at the OB GYN.

OB means (An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, has expertise in female reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth)

I'm laying down in the bed and watching my little child on the monitor or screen. The Doctor starts to move the transducer on my tummy.

“Here’s your baby, congratulations” the doctor said and smiled.

I felt happy and nervous at the same time. Even if it's just small as bean, I'm very happy to see him or her. I just hope that the gender is a girl.

"This is your first trimester, Mrs? What's your last name? Or what should I call you?" The Doctor asked me while I was still laying down.

I looked at Sir John, he stared at me.

"Just Myra, and Miss only" I said.

"Soon to be Mrs. Gatchalian, Doctor" Sir John said with a smile.

I looked at him angrily and when he looked at me I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Honey, you're complaining again" Sir John said while laughing to me.

"Hey" I said.

"Ow! It's really like that when you're pregnant, especially when it’s your first time. Mister, now I'm telling you that you need to control Miss Myra, because in the first trimester she will feel a change in herself which can cause her to be sensitive. She will treat you bad or she’ll getting mad quickly" Doctor said to sir John.

Sir John smiled and nodded to the doctor.

The hell? Why is he happy? Shouldn't he be in trouble now because he has a child who needs support? I mean, this would be a big responsibility.

"Also, she needs to be more careful and your baby is just a fetus. Avoid carrying heavy objects that can force her tummy" Doctor said.

"Noted, thank you" Sir John said.

Wait, why is he acting kind? He’s talking extremely polite! Too formal. Does he like this doctor? Although the doctor looks old.

At least Sir is also old, for me he is old, when my child comes out he can call Sir John a grandfather.

"Okay, Wait, I will list all the vitamins you need for the baby and Miss Myra, Take the vitamins at its supposed time, okay?" Said the Doctor.

"Okay, thank you" I said.

I wiped my tummy full of gel. The doctor walked out the room. I looked at sir John who’s smiling like crazy right now.

"What? Are you that kind?" I said calmly to Sir John.

I’m resisting myself not to be angry.

"Is it forbidden to be kind now?" he said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes.

"Woo! What do you mean, just admit that you like the doctor, so you become kind, you said noted in a flirty way! What a slut" I said and got up, I walked out and went to Doctor Sanchez's office.

"Hey Myra! Come on!" Sir called me but I did not look at him.

"Myra!" It called me again and held my hand.

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Miss eyebrows, Earlier your eyebrows were too mean" he said. "Are you jealous?" Sir asked, which surprised me.

"Are you crazy Sir? We have no commitment, why should I be jealous? And then we have no feelings for each other right? We only have child but we do not love each other" I said and went to the Doctor to get the prescription.

There are so many vitamins that I need to take, I looked at my wallet which was almost empty.

"Dead… gosh" I whispered.

I held my head and approached Sir John again who was still standing in his place earlier where I left him.

"Sir, can I borrow some money-" I said with a smile.

"Give me that!" he said and snatched the prescription from me and walked away.

"Attitude?" I whispered and just followed Sir.

While Sir was paying, Nhel suddenly called me. My heart beat started to race as I answered his call.

"Yes Nhel?" I asked.

"Love! Why Nhel? I'm already sulking" Nhel said softly.

"C-come on, my baby boy is sulking. Sorry Love" I said.

"Why does it sound so loud? Where are you?" Nhel asked.

"Ahh—hhmm I’m---" I looked at Sir John who was looking at me, he showed me the vitamins he had bought.

"I was at the Mall earlier, I was walking in a jeep, I was going home" I said to Nhel. I tightly closed my eyes.

"Let’s go" Sir John murmured and walked away.

"Remember to always take care of yourself, Love huh?” Nhel said.

"Of course Love, I'm excited to see you at our Anniversary" I said to him. He finally dropped the call, I sighed.

I just followed Sir John until we could get in his car.

While he was driving I was still talking to Nhel so we was just quiet.

We'll meet one day Nhel, then... He'll know everything.

As we arrived at my house. I got out of the car.

"Your fruit" Sir John said and handed the fruits to me.

"Thank you for driving me here" I said.

Sir just nodded and pulled away.

Does he seem angry? Is it because I spend a lot of his money? I feel like these vitamins are expensive.

I immediately hid them in my bag and only brought fruit.

"Myra, where have you’ve been?" Mama asked me a nice question.

"I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye, I just bought fruit at the market to eat and hang out with my friends" I said and smiled.

"That's fine and I'll put the fruits on the kitchen, go and rest" said Mama and took the plastic of the fruits.

Mom, I'm sorry.

I feel nervous because I don’t know how to say it.

I approached Mom and hugged her.

"Mom, what if I get pregnant?" I ask.

"WHAT!? Are you crazy? my child? Don't get pregnant with your boyfriend, I know you two we’re going to meet but that doesn’t mean you two will do something! It's hard to take care of a child!" Mom said angrily.

I can't help but feel sad because how about my child?

"It’s just a question, Mom" I said and smiled hard.

"What are you saying? Nhel and you, haven't even met and then you get pregnant? Myra, that question is impossible" she said.

I want to cry, She's expecting a lot from me. How about me? How is this child? Will Mom accept it?

"What are you really going to say?" Mom asked.

"Ahh—hhmm-- actually--" I stammered, not knowing what to say.

"What? Are you leaving?" She asked.

I have to think an alibi.

"Yes, someone-- someone offered something-- a job from far away, The contract is a few months but I will earn a lot" I said.

I'm sorry I lied to you Mom.

"Why are you still saying goodbye, go ahead and grab that opportunity, If it’s for your bright future then go" Mama said making me feel more guilty.

"Thank you Mom" I said to Mom.

My plan was to look for a part time job and stay with Sir John temporarily if he agreed.

Just so my Mom doesn't notice my tummy if it gets bigger, I'll stay with Sir John until I can tell her the truth.
