The King's Arrival

I woke up in a cave, all my wounds healed and I looked around and I looked around and I saw that no one was there with me. I didn’t know what was happening, I don’t really know who saved me. I didn’t even know or understand how it was possible for me to be alive. 

“I thought that Lycans hate Werewolves. I don't really understand how I am still alive and I don't really know what I am going to do if anything happens to me.”  I looked around the cave to see where I was. 

I didn’t know what I was to expect but I knew that I had to keep my head low so that I wont get caught by anyone, I was already risking a lot to be out here, I wanted to make sure that Leon and his guards weren’t going to see me. I walked out of the cave to look around properly.

I didn’t see anyone in plain sight, it felt strange the only thing I could remember was that his face was like a drawing from the gods. “I was really hoping to see him here, but now I don’t really know who he was or why he saved me. A single Lycan saved my life, a beast meant to hate my kind saved me.”

The thought of being saved by a Lycan was the only thing going through my head, if it was a wolf, I was meant to be dead. I decided to walk back to my cave and hide there. But it seemed my hiding time was up. I could smell the guards running up my way and by the looks of things I knew that there was no way for them to miss me.

“There she is! Grab her make sure you tie up her hands and feet. The Alpha wants to see her in his quarters.” The warrior in charge ordered, it turned out that I was not going to get the freedom I wanted, only the heavens knew what I was going to meet in his hands if I got back to the pack house. The only thing I knew was that my punishment was going to be doubled there was no telling what Leon was going to do to me.

“You ungrateful Whore, you really tried to run away after our beloved Alpha has done for you? You should be grateful that he took you into the pack and didn’t let you rot in that orphanage.” The warrior brought his face close to me, he was looking at my body. I wasn’t going to let him touch or look at me like that.

“I thought that warriors are meant to be smart, you are as foolish as your Alpha. All of you are the worst and I pray that the moon goddess takes your lives from you.” I looked him in the eye, I knew that it won’t get me anywhere but then I was not going to assaulted by a lower grade wolf.

He laughed as he used his hands to run through my hair, the look in eyes was impure and disgusting. I couldn’t let him do anything to me, I looked at him and spat on it. I was looking at his enraged face, “You arrogant whore, I will make sure that you will pay.” He slapped me across the face.

I didn’t want him to do anything that would let him feel like I was a toy for him to play with, “Take her back to the Alpha, I will love to see what he is going to do with you.” He had a weird smile on his face. I couldn’t fight back, if I did then it would mean my death. I followed them slowly as they took me back to the pack.

I couldn’t think of anything else but what he was going to do with me when I was taken back to the pack, I only prayed that he won’t try to kill me once he saw me. I was looking around to see that the villagers in the pack were all glaring at me. I didn’t understand why they bared so much hate for me.

It was never like this when I still had my family around, they would always run around my father and we were all adored as the main family of the pack after the Alpha. I was seen as trash in the eyes of the same people that were happy about.

‘Astrid, I don’t think I can bare this much pain, its too much to bear.’ Lia was barely holding on, since the rejection she had been dormant and doesn’t say anything. I knew that the pain from being rejected was one that anyone couldn’t shake off that easily.

“I know Lia, I feel too but then I will make sure that nothing happens to us again. I will make sure that he won’t us and leave us to rot again. I will make sure that he stops breathing the moment he tries to do anything with me.” It took a heavy heart to say that, I know that it was going to be hard but I will try and make sure that he doesn’t hurt me.

The warriors took me to the main chamber, Leon was on the throne of the Alpha. He had an angry look on his face but then the moment he saw me the look on his changed.

“Leave us.” He ordered; all the guards left the room. Leon was looking at me like a predator about to pounce his prey. It was not an encounter that I was prepared for.

“You really thought that you could escape? You had the audacity to hit the Alpha, and you ran out to escape. You really have the heart to try to run away, I don’t understand what you were trying to do by escaping.”

He stepped down and began walking towards me, I knew that he would try to touch me. He was standing in front of me, he looked me in the eye. Before I could do anything to react or defend myself, he grabbed me by the neck.

“If you ever try this sort of thing in your wretched life, I will make sure that you don’t use your eyes anymore!” I was beginning to lose air; he threw me across the room.

I couldn’t see clearly where I landed, my entire body was filled with pain. I knew that he was going to be hard on me if I didn’t do anything to make sure that he left me alone. I knew that he would try to hit me again, I looked at him.

“I am the daughter of the Beta of the Dire Wolf pack. I wont stand here and let you treat me the way you like!” I didn’t know what had gotten into me but he was looking at me. The look I saw in his eyes were those of disgust and hate.

“The daughter of a useless man is a useless wretch; your father was weak that is why he could not even protect his own daughter or his family.” He was mocking my late father; I knew that he was trying to do something that would break me. I wasn’t going to let him in any way or the other.

“At least he would have been a better leader than you.” I looked him in the eye not averting my gaze from him. He walked up to me and pulled me by my hair. He was looking at me, I could feel the hate coming from this one being.

“A night gave you so much spirit to talk to me like that? Lets see what a night in the dungeon does to you.” He threw me to the floor.

“Guards, come take this whore and make sure you throw her into the dungeon. Don’t give her food or water until I say so.”

The guards came in and took me away, I looked at him as I was being dragged off, I could only swear a curse.

The guards took me down to the dungeon, and threw me in there like I was some sort of reject. I couldn’t fight back neither could I do anything.

“You better stay quiet down here or you will have to deal with us.” The guards warned, I curled in the corner looking around the dark dungeon. I laid down to get some rest in other to get prepared for the next day.

“Don’t worry I will make sure your wounds heal.”

I sat up immediately, I had a weird memory, I didn’t know who that was but I knew that I had not seen him before. I laid back down to get some rest and wait for the day ahead.

~Third Person

eon and his beta were in the throne room, Leon had a feeling that Ethan was the one that aided Astrid’s escape. But Ethan didn’t want t own up to the crime he was trying to keep his head low.

“I don’t know what she told you but I will tell you this, if you ever do this again, I will forget that you are the beta and end your life.” Leon was looking at Ethan, Ethan wasn’t going to flinch. He was always the one to keep his cool no matter what was happening, he wanted to make sure that Leon was not going do anything to him.

Ethan looked at Leon and knew that he could easily kill him if he wanted but then he was not going to kill his Alpha. “I don’t know how she escaped but then I promise that she wont do it again.”

Leon was trying stare Ethsn down, he didn’t trust him for some reason. A guard canme running into the room, he was panting uncontrablly. “Alpha, Alpha. He is here.” The guard said in between breaths.

“Who is here? What in the world are you talking about?” Leon didn’t even bother to look at the guard.

“The ly-”

“I think this is the wrong moment to be here.”

“And who the fuck do you think you are?!” Leon turned to see who was talking behind him, but once he turned at the same time, he and Ethan fell on their kneels and bowed.

“It is an honor to have you here Lycan King Dante!”
