Chapter 30

I had a rough breakup with my four-legged friend. Sweet is the most brilliant cat I've ever seen; it senses that I'm about to leave it, so it clings to me and doesn't let go. Even when I waved goodbye, it scratched Lily's body to run after me. I wanted to cry then, but I knew it was best to stay here. Ultimately, Lily and I locked it in an iron cage to prevent Sweet from messing up, and I had to hide while it was eating.
