Chapter 34

Serena's POV:

The dim lights made it difficult for me to see the way. Two hours ago, I was taken off my blindfold and led into a room where several other women were dressed as oddly as I was. I looked at their trembling, frightened looks, like seeing my reflection.

In the corner was a girl about 12 to 14 years old; her body was thin, but her face was very beautiful. I suddenly felt pity; a pure child shouldn't be dragged into filthy places.

I wanted to comfort her with a few words, but in the end, I gave up. I look back on my situation is not better than anyone, nor do I know a few hours later what will happen.

There were a total of four girls in the room, including me. We looked at each other, only to hear each other's heavy sighs.

A girl in a snow-white dress was called out shortly after. I bit my lip, watching her until the door slammed shut. Then, gradually, everyone in the room was called out, and the last one was me.
