My smile falls as I watch the tears slide down his cheeks. When he doesn’t answer me, I reach up, ignoring the slight burn in my hand as I wipe away the next tear and say,
“Hey, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean…”

THIRD PERSON In preparation for the ritual, Zane and Trinity head to the ancient ruin. Once there, they search for the entrance. Zane moves very quickly as Trinity takes a step and drops. Zane manages to grab Trinity’s hand, even though even if she had fallen to the ground it wouldn’t have killed her.She would have, however, been badly hurt as the altar is right under the hole and she wouldn’t have been able to do the ritual.
