Ember's POV

"She spoke about a lot of things which I'd rather not repeat." He responded, making me shiver a bit. My eyes were a bit wide but I managed to conceal my emotions.

Trent was perceptive and we were going on very smoothly. "I am not thinking about anything but it keeps making me wonder. What if she was right?"

I think I was sitting at the edge of my seat already, almost about to fall off.

"And I hate suspense, tell me what she said."

"Never mind." He replied and I shot him a glare. Why was he toying with my heart? I was almost running mad.

"Trent... You aren't supposed to leave me hanging. Tell me what happened."

"Oh, nothing much. What I need is your commitment which I'm beginning to see so I believe she was lying."
