CHAPTER 1

Babe, babe.. I opened my eyes slowly seeing Jake’s face, I “groaned” in response, morning baby he says, I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I have something to do, and I'll be back home late. Okay, I replied. He walked out of the room and I heard the front door open and close. I stretched my hands and got up from the bed. I went to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror, I turned on the tap and used both my hands and splashed water in my face, I took my toothbrush and brushed my teeth, then went inside the shower to have my bath, after I was done having my bath I quickly dried my body then wrap the towel around my chest area and I walked into the room. After rubbing the lotion on my body my phone began ringing, I looked at the screen and saw that it was my bff calling.

Hey babe!!!, she says, hey Emily, how are you doing? I asked, I’m doing good, I just called to wish you good luck on your new job, she says, thank you, I replied, okay I'll hang up now so you can get ready, bye, she says, bye, I replied. I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was 6:30, I quickly wore my work outfit, which consists of a pencil skirt, which made my hips and ass more bigger and noticeable, and a white shirt, then I wore my black heels. I sat in the mirror and began doing my makeup, my eye is green in color, and I have thick wavy hair which reach to my ass, my hair always takes time in doing, I'm 5’4ft in height, I'm curvier from my waist side, I have wider hips and plumpy ass, small waist but a “C” cup size which is okay for me because I can't imagine myself having big breast if I do I'd want to surgery but huge breast looks good on other people but not for me. I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was 7:00 and work starts at 7:30, I quickly head out the door.

I stood in front of the huge building, De Ellrago, I can't believe, I got to work here, it's has been my dream, the building is so huge, everything is made of glass, I can see my reflection, so shinny and looks so expensive, I didn't even notice that people were looking at me weirdly as they were passing by me.

  I graduated from the University of Yale, got a first-class degree, and applied for a job in De Ellrago Empire, It still feels like a dream, I went inside the building I was in “awe” everything even looks shinier and more expensive, I could also see my reflection on the floor, I looked up and saw that the ceiling was made of glass, so shiny “gosh”, the owner of this organization is so rich, I went to the receptionist. Hey, i’m here for my job, I said, the receptionist looked at me with a welcoming smile, hey, your name please, she said, Amelia Rossi, she typed it on her laptop, “oh” I’v been expecting you, she gave me a file and a key, 8th floor, number 5, the last door to the right, she said, I thanked her and walked to the elevator and pushed the bottom to the 8th floor, this building had twelve  floors that’s how big it is, I start to wonder how long it would get me to use the staircase to get to my floor,  I didn't even know when I reached my floor, I just heard a ding with the elevator door opening, immediately stepping out, my body was slapped from the cool air coming from the air conditioning, I walked to number fI've with the sound of my heels clicking against the titles, I took the key and opened the door “wow” was my first reaction, the rays of sunlight shining everywhere, it smells nice and a bouquet of flowers was placed on the table with a congratulatory card, it also had a mini fridge, this just feels so unreal at the moment, I pinched myself to make sure that I am not dreaming. 

I was still in “awe” until I heard someone knocks on the door, I was startled, and I turned to see a young man who looks 5’11ft in height, glasses, his blue eye shining through the glasses, he wore a suit looking so professional, sorry to disturb you, I know it’s your first day but you need to start working, he says, he dropped a bulk of files on my desk, go through the documents and sign them, make sure there are no mistakes because the boss won't like them, I nodded and it should be done today, he says, okay, I replied, then he walked out closing the door on his way out. Well, then I should really get started right now, it has just been five minutes since I started working on these files and I am already getting a headache, “ouch” I got up and walked to the mini fridge silently praying let water be inside the fridge, I opened it and I “sigh” in relief seeing bottles of water arranged well in the fridge, I took one out and drank, the cool feeling making my insides feels so good, I threw the plastic bottle in the dust bin and continued with my work. 

I’m so hungry, I didn't even get the time to eat breakfast today, I checked the time on the clock and saw that it was after 12, I should head to the cafeteria, I saw it while entering the building, I took my handbag and my phone with me, I step out the door and locked it with the key and put it inside my bag, I walked to the elevator and pushed the bottom to the last floor that's the receptionist place, the main entrance to the building, the elevator dinged with the door opening, I walked straight to the cafeteria, the place also looks beautiful, with so many displays of food and drinks, I walked up to the Chinese section, so many different kinds of food, like Chinese fried rice, ramen bowl, chow mein, wonton soup and so many more, I just ordered Chinese fried rice with a sunny side up egg, and while my food was being served, and I walked down to the drink section and took the fresh pineapple juice, then I walked back to the Chinese section and took my order, I looked for where to sit until I spotted the perfect sit next to the window, that was the only window place that was vacant, I walked up there and sat down, I began eating my food, “gosh” it’s so good, I “moan” in delight, the taste busting into my mouth like a firework, I cleared up my food and drank my juice, I “sigh” in satisfaction, I got up and went back into my office and continued with my work, with a good lunch like that I was surely feeling sleepy. 

I didn't even know the time has gone by so fast, the sun is already settling, but I still have a few files left.“Phew”, I put the last file with the rest, I got up from my seat and walked out of my office looking for that man that gave it to me, I didn’t even get his name, but I found him downstairs talking to the receptionist, I walked up to him, hey sorry, I'm done with these files, where should I keep them, Amelia asked, just give them to me, he says, sorry I didn't quite get your name, Amelia replied, sorry my bad, call me Richard, he says, nice to meet you Richard, I’m Amelia, Amelia replied. I should get my things and start heading home, Amelia said, I didn't even wait for his response, I quickly left to get my things from the office, upon reaching the office, I felt a massive pain in my head and stomach, I held my stomach in pain in a kneeling position, I was breathing slowly, trying to suppress the pain, I felt dizzy, and I was sweating, but after some minutes, it pain subside, I opened my office door and took my things, I went downstairs and saw that the receptionist is still there, her name is kelly, I waved her goodbye and went outside.

  The sun has already settled, and the weather is cold, just the way I like it, I called a taxi and went home. When I got home, I opened the front door and saw that Jake isn't home yet, well he did say he was going to come home late today but nowadays Jake’s been coming home late, we don't even spend time together again, he hasn't even touched me since we started dating, yes I am still a virgin but am not that eager to lose my virginity, I went inside the room, dropped my stuff, and went inside the bathroom, I set the water temperature to warm, and immediately when the water hit my body, I felt all the tension from my body loosen, my body felt relaxed, I turned off the tap and went out the bathroom, I wore my pajamas which consists of loose trousers and a singlet top.

I went to the kitchen to start making dinner, I took out all the ingredients to make alfredo's pasta, with lemon honey salmon fish, while cooking my phone rang, I saw that it was Emily calling, “hey!!, how was your first day, she says, it was good but also exhausting, I say, well I just wanted to see how you’re doing, we should hang out sometime, I don't know about that, I say, Don’t even start, you keep on saying that, you need to loosen up a little, you can also bring Jake with you, she says, hmm I guess so, okay then, what they are we going? on Saturday though, she says, alright then bye, I say, bye, she said. 

 I turned the sauce into the pasta and mix it thoroughly while frying the salmon, when the food was cooked, I dished mine, then covered the rest for Jake, I ate my food in silence while watching the conjuring, I love horror movies, “oh” I have to call Jake to ask him, I took my phone out of my bag and dialed his number, he picked up on the third ring, heyy babe, I say, hey, he says, I was just calling to ask if you would like to go out with me and Emily on Saturday night, I asked, no, I will be busy then, he says, okay, when are you coming home, it's half past 8 already, I say, well didn't I tell you I was gonna be late today, he says, yh you did tell me, I say, sure, he says, then cutting the call. I just looked at my screen, his been acting strange lately, quite a distance from me, I shouldn't be worrying about this now, I have work tomorrow, gosh I feel so tired, I stretch my hand while yawing, I should really head to bed now, I picked up my plate and washed it in the sink, then went straight to bed. Immediately when my body felt the bed, I  “sigh” in relief, gosh it feels so good to finally rest, I didn't even know when I dosed out.

   I hear a shuffling sound, I slowly opened my eyes to see what was making that sound, and I saw that it was Jake, he was taking off his cloth, then crawling back to his side of the bed, I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was 3:00 O’clock he came back, I “sigh”, Jake, why are you coming home by this time, it's so late, I was so worried, I said, he dropped his phone and turned his body facing me, and why should I answer your question he replied, I was just worried because these days you come home late and we don't spend time together anymore, did I do something wrong to make you distance yourself from me, I replied, “didn't I tell you I was going to come home late today!!!”,  I “sigh” yes you did in a low voice, I faced my back to him not wanting to argue.
