Chapter 3

Amber woke up as if she came from a good sleep. She feels peaceful. She feels like she is full of energy.

"It's a beautiful morning." She stretched her arms with a sweet smile on her face.

But her smile vanished immediately when she realized she is in an unfamillar place.

"Where am I?"

The last thing she remembered is when she was inside the Villacorda company building. She also remembers that she lost consciousness and fall into someone's arm.

She automatically roam her eyes around.

The wall paint is white. There is also a floor to ceiling glass wall covered with a moss green curtains. The Queen size soft bed has also a color moss green headboard. There no much furnitures inside  except two bedside table and table good for two positioned near a rectangular hanging bookselves.

There's no decoration in the the wall other than the round moss green wall clock.

Her eyes widened when she noticed the time.

"It's seven twenty-two already?"

She roam around her eyes again.

There is also a glass door inside which abviously is the bathroom. Parallel to the door is another door. She immediately concluded that it is the walk-in closet.

One part of the room has a curved part. It looks like a small living room because of a long sofa and two pieces one-seater sofa on the both side of it. In the middle is a small table made of glass. The area is surrounded by a floor to ceiling glass wall. There is also a glass door going  to the balcony.

Her eyes widened when she noticed it is already dark outside.

"It's already night time?"

When her gaze landed on the door, her blood seemed to awaken even more. She quickly got up from the bed and headed to it.

Her chest throbbed as she stepped closer to the door.

Hope revived innate her when she effortlessly opened the door. She waste no time, she immediately hop outside the room. The hallway is wide. The problem now, she didn't know if she will move to her right or her left.

"Relax, Amber." She put her palm on her chest. She also closed her eyes. "Inhale." She accompanied it with a sigh. "Exhale." She felt relieved when she let out another sigh.

A smile drew on her lips as she opened her eyes.

But her eyes widen when she saw a man staring at her.

"Did he see what I did?" She silently asked herself.

The man is just a meter away from her. He has an undercut hairstyle with a highlight if brown color.

He also have a manly thick eyebrow.  There's a fond and amusement in his brown eyes while he is staring at her. His eyelashes are naturally long and thick. He also have a pointed nose and a reddish lips that were slightly arched.

"What a handsome creature, Lord. Am I in heaven already?" She told herself.

"Good that you're awake, now." Amber seemed to wake up in fantasy because of his baritone but gentle voice.

That's also when Amber's gaze automatically returns her sight to the handsome man's eyes.

"Are you hungry?" he asked. 

Amber couldn't help but blinked her eyes as the man began to move closer to her direction. To her panic, she automatically run away from him.

"Hey!" He called. When Amber gaze to his direction, she saw him dropping the paper bags he was holding and begin moving his feet closer to her. 

"Please don't run!" He pleaded. 

But Amber give him any ears. Infact that only made her to run even faster.

When she saw a door on the hallway, she didn't think twice going to that direction. As she turned, she managed to look back at the handsome man chasing him.

"Who is he?" She asked. She also felt relieved when she is couldn't see the man following him. However, she continued moving. But as she progressed again she bump into something hard.

"Ouch!" She automatically touched her head.

"What the fuck!" A husky voice exclaimed. That's when Amber realized that the hard thing that hit her head was a man's mascular chest. Amber lifted her face to see the owner of the muscular body.

He has a black curly hair. He also have an emotionless brown eyes. His nose is aristocratic and a thick lower lips that is naturally reddish and seem so soft.

Amber swallowed the lump on her throat. She suddenly recognized the man infront her. He is the man in the big picture, it's none other than Ashton Blumentrint Villacorda.

"Who are you?" He furrowed. 

Before Amber could speak a hand gripped her arm.

"I'm sorry, Uncle. We were just having fun." Said an angelic voice. The gentleman's thick eyebrows furrowed even more.

"And who is she? Your flavor of the month?" 

"I never had that kind of business, Uncle. I'm always been a good boy."

Ashton Blumentrint grinned as his eyes examimed the woman who bumped into him. 

Dark Indigo quickly put his arm around her waist. Seems that way, he could show his possession.

Ashton Blumentrint just shook his head on what his eldest nephew did. 

The two were only five years apart. He is twenty-five years old and his Uncle Ashton is thirty years old.

"Next time, tell that kid not to run in my area." He said without removing his sight to the young lady. On the other hand, Amber's jaw dropped because of what she  heard. Her reaction was caught by Indigo's eyes. He also got the chance to examined Amber's face. She has a heart -shaped face. Her long eyelashes and an eyes shouting innocence. She has a small but pointed  nose and a naturally pinkish lips.

"Did he said kid? Whom is he referring? Me?" 

"I'm sorry about what happened, Uncle."

He tightened his grip on the girl.

"We gotta go."

Ashton couldn't help but shook his head as he watched his nephew took the girl with him.

She is 5 "8 'tall. She have a fair skin. Her body is obviously slender even though she is wearing a pair of pink pajamas. He also noticed the woman's round butt.  He shook his head. He then asked himself how could a woman whose body was almost wrapped with pajamas be attractive and sexy on his sight.

Meanwhile, when Amber and Dark Indigo were far away, the woman tried to get away from Indigo's hand.

"Let me go!" Indigo just let out a sigh and let her go.

"How dare him to call me kid! That Old man! Arghhh!"  She didn't care even if there is someone else in front of her. She was really pissed off.

Dark Indigo just shook his head with a smile.

For him, there's no one she can compare to the woman beside him at the moment. She is indeed unique. Amusement was written on his face when Amber diverted her gaze to him. She also stopped walking and look intently to him

"By the way, who are you?"

Dark Indigo smiled at her.

Her white and even teeth did not escape the girl's sight. A small dimple also appeared on the side of his lip.

The girl said to herself, if he is handsome when he is serious, he is far more handsome when he is smiling.

"I'm Dark Indigo Villacorda." He lend his hand to her/ Amber's gaze went to the man's long finger and soft-looking hand. The girl blinked She silently told herself, she need to think of another name that she will introduce to the man. It's her way to escape the trouble she got into. 

"And you are Amber Velez." The man took away his hand infront her.

Amber's eyes widened.

"How did you know?"

Indigo smiled.

"I should know. You are the future mother of my kids."

Amber's foot immediately moved backward.

"About that thing--" Nervousness was written on her beautiful face.

"Let's discuss about that after dinner."

"I am not hungry. Let's just--" Before she could finish what she's saying, the girl's stomach grumbled.

"I'm also hungry." The man didn't seem to care what he heard.

"C'mon. Let's go." He even nodded his head before leading.

He also picked the paper bags he had left on the floor before moving toward the door.

"I already instructed the maid to bring food here. Let's just wait inside." He said calmly as he opened the door.

The girl remained standing as if hesitating whether if she would follow or not.

"C'mon." He nod his head as if telling her to follow. "Don't worry, I will never harm you. I have no intention to do that. You're safe with me."

Amber gathered courage. She sighed before she decided to step into the room where she woke up earlier.

When the girl entered, Dark Indigo closed the door.

The girl felt that the space in the room was suddenly get less spacious. She feels, she is having difficulty in breathing.

"Relax, okay?"

She did not know if he noticed the tension inside her.

"Feel at home," he said.

After a while, he stepped closer to the bed and placed the paper bags he was holding. 

"These are clothes that you can use for tonight."

Amber didn't say any word. Her attention was not on the dress but on thinking about how she could escape from his house.

"Don't worry, sets of clothes for you will arrive tomorrow."

Amber got an idea. 

"I'd like to go home first. For sure my mother is already worrying for me."

"I already talked to your Mom. She knows that you are with me."

"But--"

"Call her if you want to confirm." He also landed his gaze to the cellphone on the table. 

"I need to attend school  on Monday."

"About your studies, I already arranged it. You will meet your tutor on monday."

"What do you mean? You will imprison me here?"

Dark didn't say anything. 

"Will you deprive me of freedom?"

"That's for your own safety."

Amber was about to speak again when they hear a knock on the door.

"We'll discuss about that after dinner."

"Eat alone! I don't want to eat!" 

Dark just sighed.

"Alright. If you want to attend school, I'll consider it."

The woman immediately looked at him.

"But I will assign a body guard to look after you."

Amber just sighed. But on her second thought, that would be better because somehow she can find a chance to escape.

When she didn't speak, Dark Indigo went immediately to the door and opened it. After that, he came back inside carrying a food tray.

"Follow me." He walk towards a glass door.

Amber just sighed before finally stepping to follow Dark Indigo.

She saw how Indigo arrange the food on the table.

"I instructed them to cook your favorite food."

That's when Amber noticed the sarciadong bangus, fried chicken and fried rice. Somehow, she appreciated what he did.

"How did you know?" She couldn't help but to ask.

Dark Indigo smiled at him before speaking.

"You are my future children's mother. I should know." He also pull the chair for her. 

"Please sit down and let's eat." He hold Amber's shoulder and make her take her seat. Amber let him.

When Indigo went to chair infront of her, she roam her eyes around. She immediately notice the stars shining from above. She tried looking for the entrance but all she can see is a high fence. She a big swimming pool, garden and a park with a some nipa huts. She think that she might get lost if she will try to escape tonight.

A plan was then form on the back of her mind. That is to pretend that her submission to Indigo. That way, she could find a way to escape.
