Chapter Four I Lose My Child

Zackary's phone was on speakerphone, and I heard all the words the other side said.

I saw that Zackary was standing there with his phone like he was dumbfounded.

He couldn't believe it.

"How could this happen?"

The blood beneath me was becoming more and more.

I felt this baby was slowly leaving me.

I was overwhelmed with desolation.

If this call had come earlier, my child would have been saved.

But even so, Zackary still didn't believe that this child was his.
