Chapter 70 Dinner Date

“THIS is my friend’s restaurant. Like me, he’s also a businessman, and this is just one of the businesses he runs. Come on! Let’s get inside.” He held my hand to go inside the restaurant.

The waiter greeted us and quickly guided us to a table. Then Nicholas gently pulled out a chair for me to sit down.

“Thank you,” I whispered again, and my cheeks want to blush for what he did. In fairness, he’s a handsome gentleman.

“Here’s your menu, Ma’am, Sir.” The waiter politely reached out to us.

“Thanks,” I answered before looking out for food to order. But after a few minutes of looking at the menu, I don’t seem to have a choice because I think I want to eat almost everything. Eventually, I ended up with pasta and creme brulee while he was ordering beef stroganoff and cheesesteak.
