Chapter 78 Unfinished Business

“THIS WILL BE your room for now. I’m planning to buy new stuff so you can be comfortable here,” she explained carefully while leaning her back at the door.

I stared at Lara for a moment. I want to ask her directly about what happened between her and her husband Dawzon, but I wasn’t in the position to do that. And like me, she also didn’t ask any personal questions about my sudden arrival as her child’s babysitter.

“For the meantime, you’ll sleep in Carlson’s room first,” she added, pulled out the curtains to open, and the sunlight stream to the window.
