REBECCA’S POV

I finally snapped out of thoughts when I heard Maribella laughed. The audience seems to be enjoying my story too but being sucked back to my memory lane was a bit embarrassing for me. It reminded me of how stupid I was when I was young.

I think I said too much.

“You are quite adorable in your younger days, Ms. Javier. Not everyone can do that. Honestly, while you are telling us what happened, I pictured myself confessing my feelings to the man I’m in love with and it was quite… unimaginable.” She chuckled and slowly shook her head. “I… I cannot do it.”

I smiled. “That’s exactly what they said. But I don’t know. Sometimes, when you feel too much love and you started to feel suffocated for adoring someone, you just find yourself blurting out unnecessary things and feel better after… although, it comes with a price.”

“Obviously. If you don’t mind me asking, what happened to you after that incident?”

I sighed. “Well…”
