REBECCA'S POV I JUST GOT HOME FROM Casa Blanca Bar alone since Mirajane decided to go with Judiel. We all decided to go home when we started to blabber about the past, resulting to loud laughter and unlimited teasing. Numerous customers already reported us so we chose to call it a night. I just had my bag placed in my room when my phone suddenly rang. It was a call from my editor – sharing the good news that the interview I had with IBS-CON network ranked number one in talk shows and that my book was once again sold out in a well-known bookstore. Elated I was, I ran inside my room and wrote about it in my journal. And while I was happily writing the news about my success, I caught a glimpse of an old notebook – stuck in between my two other novels. I pulled it out, and in an instant, the memories I had written in that diary rushed over me. I felt the urge to open it – which I did, and there I read what seems to happen like yesterday... ******************* Dear Diary, I'VE BEEN
Rebecca’s POV “ENOUGH WITH YOUR CHILDISH act and stay away from her!” I felt the intense disgust when Ibarra said those words. I peeked a little and saw how their lips parted in shock. The first one to recover was Mitchell who immediately took out her handkerchief and ran towards him. “I-I’m so sorry, Prince!” She was about to wipe the egg off his back when he shoved her hands and completely faced them – forcing me to show myself since I was tightly clinging on his uniform. The girls gasped upon seeing how close I was to Ibarra and that triggered Mitchell more. She gave me a death stare and grabbed me by my hair “You sly---!” “What happened here?!” The librarian entered the room and looked at us completely baffled. Saved by the bell! I was able to breath a bit better since Mrs. Reyes quickly removed her hands off my hair and got in between us. I shifted my position and hid behind Ibarra. “Didn’t you girls just recently go through detention for bullying Rebecca? Why are you doi
I WOKE UP WITH THE diary in my hand – thinking that it was probably the reason why I dreamt of that moment. It was a sweet memory of mine and dreaming about it was like a prize for my longing heart. I stretched my arms before sitting up. A new day. A new day without rushing myself to open my laptop and start typing. It was a wonderful feeling. Don’t get me wrong. I love writing. But sometimes, it’s nice to take my time and sit down while sipping on my favorite coffee without forcing to wake yourself up because I was running after the deadline. I stood up and placed the diary on my table before going outside my room. I was on my way to the kitchen to make some coffee when the telephone rang. Oh shoot… The only people who could call me in that number was my editor, my manager and Mirajane. I was hoping it was the last person – warning me that she and Judiel will visit the house. I was quite hesitant to pick it up but I had no choice. "Hello? Who's this?" I asked and waited for the
Ibarra’s POV “IBARRA.” REBECCA BITTERLY CALLED out my name. Yeah, I think I should be offended but I don’t know why my heart started beating too fast. Seeing her after all these years sent a tingling sensation inside me. I was starting to feel nostalgic as I envisioned her as the high school girl I first met. My dog… The person who I was less interested at when I was young… the person I wanted to evade. However, fate seems to have a different plan for us. It kept on tangling us together no matter how hard I try to distance myself from her… just like now. “It appears you two know each other.” Nikki said to break the intense stare fest we were having. Rebecca sarcastically laughed as she slowly stood up. “How stupid of me not to know or even research who the owner of IBS-CON is.” She raised her left eyebrow and scoffed at me. “Forget it. I’m not going to do this stupid show!” “Rebecca!” Nikki accosted when she was about to walk away from us. The corner of my lips curved when a cra
I SAT DOWN on the couch hidden to most customers inside the cafe near the office. I even stomped my feet in irritation upon remembering what happened. My gosh! I still couldn't believe that Ibarra's effect on me was that great! It's been years! Why couldn't I let go of this stupid feeling?! Not to mention that I acted like an idiot dog earlier! I rolled my eyes and hit my forehead with my hand. That made it obvious that I was still under his command. Under his command my ass! I was just taken aback! I looked at the folder that I have no intention of taking with me but it somehow stuck in my hand. To be honest, it would really be amazing to accept such a big project but seeing Ibarra… I suddenly lost my cool. Plus, the benefits and the payment are really… I blew cold air upon seeing the amount. Not gonna lie… it's more than enough. I could even spend six months without doing anything but still live in luxury. The question is… will I be able to stop myself from being a sarcastic wi
I STUDIED HARD for the incoming test - obviously because I do not want to be someone else's dog... Really? My brain immediately reacted after that thought. Fine! I plan on winning to have Ibarra for myself for a month! Yes! That's what keeps me going. I kept studying day and night to ace the test and now, the day has finally come where I can assess my brain. "Well, someone seems excited for the exam." Mirajane commented when she reached my seat. It was still early so she had time to visit me before she comes back to her own room. She’s been visiting me here so my classmate knows her already. I placed my reviewer down and she laughed at me as soon as she saw my face. "Girl! Did you even sleep?" I sighed and shut my eyes. "No. I don't
Ibarra’s POV I WALKED ALONG the corridor and these girls scattered outside their room kept whispering to each other when I passed by. Their excitement can't be contained as well – obviously happy that they got the chance to see my face. I could see how much they adore me and that… was something that I was already used to. I thought that studying in public high school would give me the peace I've been wanting to seize. But nonetheless, these women makes it hard for me to do so. When I first arrived here, I was excited too… thinking that I would be treated as a normal person but… "Ibarra's here!" A girl squealed and most of the students went out of their classroom just to see me walking. To be honest, it was annoying. They would giggle and push each other as if a well-known actor walked by. &nb
PRESENT TIMES “WHAT? WHY DIDN’T you snatch the umbrella back?” Nikki looked at me pissed. She even hit the table with her hand. “Oh gosh! Don’t tell me it’s because you’re so in love with him?” I honestly wanted to answer back but I couldn’t lie about the fact that I really am… errr ‘was’ so crazy about him when I was younger. “Well, accepting the deal that she will become a dog by someone… isn’t that a clear sign that she was willing to become submissive? Why do women become submissive? One, they are abused. Second, they are in love, or third, they are just clearly crazy.” Bianca stared at me – giving me the right to choose. I exasperatedly sighed. “It doesn’t matter anymore! That’s all in the past. And I already told you about our thing. Isn’t that what you were after?” &nb
