Lord Frederick's POV

Getting back home, I walked into the sitting room and met Octavia talking to the servants. The moment she saw me, she looked my way, but I ignored her and went straight to my room.

Pacing around my room, I began pondering, thinking of what to do and how to solve the mess I had put myself into. Aurora was pregnant, and there was no way I would let her go through any abortion. That pregnancy was a symbol of our love, and I wouldn’t let anything happen to it.

The door of my room creaked open, and Octavia walked in. “Is everything okay?” she asked curiously, but I didn’t respond. Instead, I walked over to the mini bar, took out a bottle of whiskey, and filled up my glass.

“Is there a problem?” she asked again, but I ignored her and took a long sip of my drink.

Moving closer, she wrapped her arms around me, and I instantly pulled away. “Stop it!” I grunted before emptying my glass.
