“Drake, what is it?” Jake asked, his voice quivering.

I could only point to the sack, unable to form the words to describe what I had found. He cautiously stepped forward, his hand reaching out to touch the bag.

He hesitated for a moment, then pulled back the flap and peered inside. His eyes widened in horror, and he let out a gasp.

He reached into the bag, pulling out a blood-stained shirt, and clinging to his fingers.

“I… I can't believe my father would do something like this,” he said, his voice trembling.

I was still frozen in place, unable to speak.

He looked at me, waiting for some kind of response.

“What do we do now?” he asked, noticing my silence.

I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out. I just stood there, staring at the blood-stained clothes, my mind racing.

“You can’t keep mute like this, we have not come this far to be weak, we need to find a way forward,” he said in a soothing tone.

I knew he was right, but at that moment, I couldn't bring myself to say
