Everything went quickly and after signing the papers that state Jason was finally ours (I added a clause where Emily and her sister could see him at any time, that’s if they want to) Ian didn’t leave the court. He couldn’t, Emily filed a complaint against him and they were also going to look deeper into his business with the mafia.

“Is everything alright?” Jason asked as we stepped out of the courtroom.

I looked at him but the tears wouldn’t stop coming out, I was just so happy.

“Yes, Jace everything is okay,” Henry answered instead of me.

He blinked and then looked at me, “but why are you still crying?” He asked.

I smiled at him, “I’m fine Jace, I should feel so happy,” I sniffed while he looked at me weirdly.

“Do people cry when they are happy?” He asked and both Henry and I nodded.

“Yes, some people do. They get emotional when they are happy and that leads to tears,” I explained while wiping the tears from my face.
