Chapter Two Hundred Sixty One

Gwen.

I gave some of my new clothes to Riley, she didn’t want to take them at first but after persuading her she took them and changed.

I could finally see the baby—without the many clothes covering her, she was a cute baby and a very quiet one at that.

Henry and the kids returned after buying some baby clothes and milk, since her mother wasn’t here I thought it would be okay for her not to starve.

“We are home!” Jason yelled from the living room.

“Is that him?” Riley asked as soon as we heard his voice.

I nodded, “Yes, come down when you are ready,” I tapped her shoulder before leaving her room.

“Mommy, come see what we bought!” Jas yelled, I followed their voices coming from the kitchen.

They were all unpacking things and they looked excited,

“Welcome baby,” I greeted and kissed their foreheads even though they weren’t paying attention.

I looked at the stuff they got and sighed in relief when I saw everything the baby would need in there.
