“Don’t worry, Sophia,” Kayla assured me, giving me a quick hug. “I have to go now, but I’ll keep trying to get in touch with Adrian. “I promise I'll have him call you as soon as possible.” She squeezed my hand reassuringly. “And I’ll update you on what’s happening with Adrian’s family.”
