Chapter 4

Turning my head to look, I saw Kevin standing there.

Carefully tugging at the fabric of my clothes, Denise asked, "Is this your brother? He looks familiar…"

My expression went cold, and I shook my head. "He's probably got the wrong person. I don't know him."

I had just finished talking when Kevin closed the distance between us. "Aria, I have something to tell you. Can you come out with me?"

Kevin's eyes were red, and he was a completely different image than he was just a few days before. When before he was filled with pride, now he seemed downtrodden… And even somewhat agitated?

I turned to look away from him, irritation clear in my tone as I asked, "What do you want, Mr. Sinclair? Did your precious little sister Clarisse get upset again, so you're here to pick at me to make her happy? Are you going to trick me into following you so that you can hide another bracelet worth millions on me and call me a filthy thief?
