Chapter 6

The veins of his neck are bulging violently and his stormy eyes are filled with rage .

“Nash!Why did you slap Lan!Release him! It was that wrench!It was all her fault!”Rose says trying to get in between them .

“Stop it !She didn’t do anything, mom!It was you guys who were in the wrong!”Mia speaks not letting them frame Liana .

“See?That wrench has brainwashed Mia completely!It’s all her fault!It’s good if she dies!I didn’t do anything wrong ! I just did what she deserved!How dare she try to harm my precious son!That bitch !”Rose blurs out , burning with anger .

Her malicious eyes are filled with hate for Liana .

Nash is in shock after hearing his mother .

He has seen how they pick on her and behave badly with her but he never interfered thinking it was nothing serious .

He never imagined things would escalate to this point . His mother is literally abusing his wife .

He has seen how much Liana works and tries to satisfy them as much as possible .

But it seems like it was a bad idea to keep her here after all .

Nash takes a deep breath to stop himself from doing something he will regret.

Patience Nash , patience

Nash turns away from them and goes towards the bed .

Mia gets up from the bed .

Bending down he picks up the unconscious Liana in his arms and strides towards the door .

He stops beside his mother for a second .His heart in a turmoil , thinking about Liana .

“Mom,she is my wife.Not a servant to obey you guys.There shouldn’t be a next time . I am not a patient person , you guys know it better then anyone .”

Saying that he goes out of the room while carrying Liana .

Mia looks at Lan and her mother for a second before running after Nash .

Rose’s body is trembling with fear and anger .

She knows her son . She really messed up this time .

Liana,you wrench!Just you wait . One day i will kick you out of my family and make you beg ! Rose thinks as she looks out of the window at the car moving away from the mansion at high speed .

Liana is laying on the hospital bed still unconscious. Mia went home to get some of Liana’s clothes .

Nash enters the room after talking with the doctor and goes towards the bed .

He sits down on the chair by the bed and takes her hand in his .

“I am sorry”He says holding her hand against his forehead .

He is feeling guilty and sorry for all the things his mother and Lan has done to Liana .

He never thought getting locked up and getting bullied is something Liana has been enduring for a long time .

Mia told him everything,how his family treated her till now . He was feeling guilty .

Maybe if he had noticed it before when she started to fake her smile then things wouldn’t have come to this .

He looked at the peacefully sleeping figure on the bed.

She looks so fragile.How come i never noticed she got this thin?Nash thinks looking at Liana .

The next morning, Liana opens her eyes to see a white ceiling above her .

Confused as Nash’s room is dark themed,she looks around only to realise that she is in the hospital.

Liana tries to move her hand but it seems like a weight is put on her hand .

Looking at her side she sees a familiar face .

Nash..

Nash is sleeping, his head is resting on Liana’s hand .

Liana’s heartbeat quickens and she seems to come alive as the colours on her face start to come back .

She looks down at the man she loves with adoration.

Did he come for me ? I knew he would get me out .

He didn’t forget me .

A warm smile spreads on Liana’s face as she looks at Nash’s sleeping face .

His hair is slightly messy and there are dark circles under his eyes .

He must have been so busy with work..Liana thinks running her hand through his soft hair .

Nash groans in satisfaction as Liana tugs on his hair slightly .

Liana chuckles at him and continues to massage his scalp .

Nash has always been busy with work . Liana learned how to give different kinds of massages only for him to.

Because he used to have bad headaches and body pains quite frequently.

And as if the luck was on her side , Nash got habituated to her massages and came to her every night for massage .

Just when Liana was busy admiring the handsome figure in front of her , the door bursts open and a loud voice comes .

“Heyy guyss!”A loud voice comes . Liana turns towards the door in panic and but sighs in relief seeing Seirra .

Nash however, spring awake from sleep because of the loud voice and looks at the source angrily .

“This is a hospital!Not your home Seirra.Keep quiet!!”Nash says with a cold and disapproving face .

Seirra rolls her eyes and mumbles a small sorry before making her way to Liana .

“Babe!Are you okay?I heard you were sick”Seirra says handing a bouquet of daisies to Liana and keeping a fruit basket on the side table .

Liana smiles brightly at Seirra and takes the flowers from her .

She admires the flowers for a few seconds before Nash takes them from her grumpily.

“Lay down first . You haven’t recovered yet.I will go and get the doctor “Nash says getting up with a cold face and going out of the room .

Seirra watches him from behind with a disgusted look as he goes away .

“Babe, i still don’t understand what you saw in him.Look at that indifferent look on his face . You just woke up but he didn’t even ask if you wanted something “Seirra says frowning deeply.

Seirra never approved of Nash for Liana . She always thought Liana deserved better than Nash .

Of course her mind would have changed if Nash was different.But he is as indifferent and cold towards Liana as a north pole’s bear .

Tskk!!

Nash ignores small matters and as well as big matter about Liana . Yes , he might not be bad but he is too cold to be an ideal husband.
