Chapter 4

Its been two days,since Liana has been locked up by her mother in law .

She wasn’t given any food or water in these two days . She kept banging on the door but no one listened .

At first she thought they will only lock her up for one day but clearly her sorry excuse of a mother in law has something else in mind .

Whats worse is that Nash didn’t return in this two days . Probably why Rose found the courage to lock her up for two days .

Its already dark outside as night has already fallen . The room is plugged into darkness with only a light bit of light coming from the outside .

Liana is laying on the bed , feeling too week and hungry . She doesn’t even has the energy to get up and switch on the lights .

Not to mention that she has always been scared of darkness . Nash being aware of that , never left her alone or let her be in dark .

Thinking about Nash she hugged the pillow closer to her chest . She has been waiting for him to come home and get her out .

But he didn’t came at all .

Does he not care about her at all ?

Did he not find it necessary to even check on her once ?

She was feeling extremely hurt and disappointed .

The hunger and thirst weren’t making it any better .

Not wanting to think about anything , Liana does what she did these two days .

She closes her eyes and falls asleep . Tears of sadness rolls down her cheeks and drenches the pillow .

A speeding MC Laren is heading towards the Hallox mansion . Nash has been busy these days . So busy that he couldn’t return home for two days .

With a new project starting and constant business meetings, he has been exhausted .

Not to forget that Alina was waiting for him in his office the moment he finished the last meeting .

She was insistent on going out for dinner even though she knew how tired he was . But he couldn’t refuse her no matter how irritated he felt .

After all , she was his saviour and he was indebted to her for life .

After having dinner , they went shopping and then joined their friends in a club .

He just wanted to return home and sleep at this point .

He pulls up in front of the Hallox mansion and gets out of his car .

Throwing the car keys to a servant , he goes inside .

Going inside , he sees his mother and Lan sitting on the sofa laughing about something .

“Whats so funny?” Nash asks going towards them and sitting on the sofa .

“Oh Nash ! You are home ! I thought you won’t be back till a few more days .”Rose says panicking slightly after seeing Nash .

Nash didn’t notice that . He leans back and rests against the sofa .

He rubs his forehead , feeling light headache .

I should ask Liana to massage my head . He thinks while rubbing his forehead harshly .

Nash has always had bad headaches. But Liana would massage his head every night so he wouldn’t be in pain anymore and sleep peacefully .

“No.I didn’t go out of the city to be back so late .” Nash says

“Oh yeah..”Rose nervously says thinking about how to get Liana and threaten her properly so she doesn’t say anything to Nash .

“Brother, i heard you were with Alina these days?”Lan says wiggling his eye brows mischievously , his meaning is as clear as day .

Nash’s face turns cold and he look at Lan with indifferent eyes “Don’t speak nonsense, i only met her a few hours ago “ He says

Lan obediently shuts up and looks at his mother , asking with his eyes , what to do ?

Rose blinks and reassures him not to worry .

“Nash , you have to sleep in the guest room tonight “Rose says

“Why?Whats wrong with my room ?”Nash asks furrowing his brows .

He looks at his mother and his brother who seem to be nervous about something .

“The Ac isn’t working in your room . We have to get it fixed tomorrow.”Rose says tactfully .

Nash looks at his mother nervous face and asks “Where’s Liana?”

Rose’s heart skips a beat but she quickly covers up her nervousness with a smile .

“Liana went over to a friend’s house . She won’t be back today .”Rose says

Nash nods his head slightly and sighs .

Seems like he will have to bear the headache for today .

Nash gets up and heads towards the stairs .

“Brother!You are back!”Just then Mia appears at the top of the stairs.

She quickly runs down the stairs to get to her brother .

“Slow down!”Nash says . A small smile is visible on his face as he watches his little sister make her way to him.

Mia has always been loved and spoiled by Nash . Nash loves his family but his little sister has always been his centre of affection .

Rose and Lan’s soul almost leaves their body as Mia makes her way to Nash .

Damnn it!What if Mia says everything to Nash ? She has been begging me go get that wrench out these days , Rose thinks and she bites her lips nervously .

Shitt!We are doomed!Lan thinks looking at his sister .

Mia has never been their partner in bullying Liana but she never really endured it while sitting down too .

She would speak up for her and take her side from time to time .

“Brother!”Mia holds Nash’s hand and Nash pats her head affectionately .
