Ethan's P.O.V.

Aiden strolled in with his gaze fixed on his tablet while I stared intently at him. Aiden exhaled sharply before he turned exasperated eyes at me. "I can't believe that he is dead!..."

"Who?" I drummed my fingers on the keyboard, peeling my eyes from his face.

Aiden's shoulders slumped as he plopped into the chair across from me. "Pedro!"

My fingers were caught midway in the air, darting my eyes towards him before fixing my gaze back to the computer. "So?"

"So?" Aiden reiterated.

I responded. "He who plays with fire would surely get burnt! His death has always been inevitable"

Silence reigned between Aiden and I before he finally spoke. "You are not scared?"

"Why would I be scared? I have nothing up my sleeves neither do I engage in shady and illegal deals so I don't care about who dies and doesn't die "

Aiden sighed as he ran his hands through his hair frustratedly. "Concerning Junia, I checked the CCTV footage as you instructed and everything seemed pretty normal.
